Hi! I've always used this method, but until now I never removed the D string to install the A! Thanks for the tip, it'll be easier next time! What strings did you install to replace Spirocore?
@CraigAkinOnBass4 ай бұрын
I went through a string changing phase when this vid was made. I tired Zyex, Corelli, Evahs, but ultimately went back to Spiro Weichs on this antique flatback. For my Juzek however I’ve been loving the Evah Ps.

They sound amazing! Do you have the 22 A and E or the 16 series on there? You think they have enough to work on a 39.5" scale length?

Well I don’t know if I’d use it with Cory Wong but just for tracking songs that need some lower notes it’s great.

yeh I'm wrapped when I hear a lead player get a lot of milage out of a few notes. The first time I worked with a base player using a bull fiddle, I felt that base right across the stage floor. Kudos to you guys. From Perth West Australia. NYC is exactly the other side of the world from Perth. Been there, did a few pub guest gigs there, thats my claim to fame to tell the guys here I played NYC.

@@CraigAkinOnBass I stayed at the Crowne Plaza up from Times Square around 49th. It was a 3 storey Irish pub that had a small balcony on each floor. It was like on a narrow side street. A few blocks from the Crowne plaza. Like 16 years ago. Tried to find it on google maps. If I seen a photo, I would remember. Keep on plucking. TQ for responding.

A fretless bass is nothing more than a Fender Imprecision bass. If you take a Fender Precision bass, change the pickup, put on a fretless neck, put on a different pickguard, you have a Fender Frankencision bass.

@@richardletaw4068 I put a Warmoth fretless neck on a 76 P bass. I actually put a decal on it with the Fender logo and called it the Imprecision. My friends thought that was funny too.
