I used your spoken word at my grandma's funeral. That was 7 years ago. I never gave credit to you. I apologize. And still share your video to friends who have lost loved ones, because I feel you say them much nicer than I ever could. I am thankful for this and to you for sharing it. May you find your loved ones again friends <3

Amazing piece! So many talented people bringing this together. After such a tumultuous year of loss and chaos due to the pandemic. It is not lost upon me that it has been 9 years since this was posted. Such a blessing with much needed reassurance and hope. May it be paid back to you in spades!

9 years later I'm still coming back to this poem. I lost my Dad last summer and I still feel him everywhere. We used to take the ferry to Vancouver Island when we were kids and jump into the wind. When I rode it back to the mainland after his funeral it was the windiest I'd seen in decades. Thank you, Michael.

Can anyone says. Get some foil paper and wrap it around your head or something. Nah wait. That is too 👽. Just get some toilet paper and plug your ears. Give a thumbs down and say. Nice try but I don’t need propaganda brainwashing segments right now. I already had to give up silly Hollywood tell a vision and fakenews. And then this stuff creeps into my device. Goodness the desperation to fool people is outtta this world. Wait??? I guess you do need the foil paper. 😂

I can understand why this poem has not received as much love as other published works of his. It feels like the kind of poem that is meant for one's self. To be read in order to reawaken a feeling. Written to capture that feeling. Although the feeling that he conveys is not exactly marketable, to those whom it can reach in the intended way it is still wonderful.

Your "Dear Abby" spoken word collaboration with Donovan Livingston was beyond words! I absolutely respect you so much for speaking out about that. You have no idea how much it means when people that don't share your ethnicity can still empathize with you and not minimize your struggle!!!!! Your spoken word skills are awesome!
