That's so sad. Everything about war is sad. In fact, it's so absolutely horrid, I don't even know why we are resorting to it again and again - especially in this day and age. They elitists should be able to discuss it round a table, instead of sending men to a field to chop each other to pieces - and then one leader says "I have more men left than you - I win" - which is kind of how I see any kind of war. The situation always goes back the same way it was before the ending of all those lives anyway, so you see why it makes no sense to me.

It's a whole different thing when you dont have a choice. In the US, being homeless is a federal crime. You can get a fine, be jailed, and get a police record. I've had cops bash on my van with billyclub, leaving dents and chipped paint. Regular people are not an issue. Cops are.
@CamperVan-K18 күн бұрын
I'm sorry to hear this. I have seen lots of vanlifers' channels in the US and believed this was an ok thing to do. There's even a medic who lives in his Jeep - and it looks lovely inside. Besides this try to change the perspective. You're not homeless if you're living in a van, you're just 'house-less'... The van is your home. You pay taxes for it, you pay for its upkeep, you pay for the fuel/oil and other substances it needs to be well oiled - all of this is also taxed and given to the govt. Another option for you would be to put a 'paint job' on the van panels... make up a fictitious company, like a decorator, or plumber and say that 'no tools are left overnight in this van' - and stay in stealth mode. Is that an option for you?

It's a very difficult decision, both the smaller van and larger one have both advantages and disadvantages and to be honest I think people are not bothered what you are doing as long as you do not interfere with anyone, you must do what you want Kaye, who cares what people think! I do like the space and interior of your big blue van, I really hope you get to make the right choice🤞👍😊

@@nigel5608 Haha. You didn't notice the date at the beginning of the video... did you!! It's been almost 18 months and I still haven't made a decision. Chiefly because I had a lot of problems that I had to fix on the blue van, which are done now and it passed it's MOT. I think I am leaning more towards keeping the white van and selling the big blue van. The reason is the freedom of parking. There are drawbacks, to both. Blue van - freedom of shower, loo and standing up! White van - freedom of parking spaces. Plus, nice/kind people have offered me their shower on occassions that I need it. And the loo is a bit of a bug bear, but if I sell the big blue van, then I should have some extra funds to get that sorted in the white van. Anyway, nuff said. Don't want to prattle on. Thanks for caring. Much appreciated.

Desert animals. Perhaps you feel in a bit of a desert. Spiritual or creative? Your bags of gifts- you have gifts perhaps that you aren’t using, carrying them but no one is receiving. You are walking through two levels of time, just like your father is at two ages. If your father was a wise adviser or leader, you are missing that. And now you have to lead yourself. You followed him carrying these gifts but he had become blind to them perhaps. Dreams sometimes develop over the course of a few nights- even weeks-might be a good idea to try to remember them every morning. Smoke can be spiritual- like saging a space in a ritual.

Well done. I don’t think I could do an overview of my life at this point. But men have been a disappointment for sure. I was always the hardworking dedicated one. I tell you, I grieved for your 75 acres with the barn. Like the father says in Gone With the Wind- Land, Scarlet . It’s the only thing that matters. I was trying to make a video about being on the farm out in Omak. My friend has this place and we discussed many plans. But her husband is plain lazy, drinks beer every day, no job and no inclination to get one because she deals with everything. This other old guy is bringing dead trucks and boats there because he says he is going to work on them. He does a few handyman things that her husband ought to be doing. So every time I go out there, I end up cleaning the kitchen, tossing out trash, reorganizing the barn. She talks about our plans for a Hip Camp site on the back ten acres, hosting art parties- but the place is a mess. It’s not the best use of what time I have left on earth. I could list how many times I have improved properties and barns that I don’t own. I’m sick of that. I made a video about the one that burned over. The only way is to own something myself. I can only share with others of like mind who want to be responsible and creative. And prices keep rising. Maybe I should chat with God more.
