Yeah, right? The first one was like mind blowing when I actually realized that, although now it seems so obvious! I Regarding the #4 one, well, yeah, I think the idea of finding one's style is a persuit not for those who are just learning, but for those who already have have quite a grasp on the fundamentals. My point is that learning to draw, or to make artwork, is a lifelong journey and one will never be satisfied to the point of saying "No, I have mastered all the subjects, I can draw everything". There is always this sensation that "I need to improve, so I need to draw what is difficult in order to advance". So my advice, or the point I'm making, is that often we overlook the value of things we already know thinking them to be "easy" and we don't use them as we could because we think we need to constantly challenge ourselves, or we want to show our skills to others. For exemple: watercolor and ink is easy for me, but some time ago I wanted to paint with Oils or Acrylics because I thought that working in watercolors and ink wouldn't impress people so much, because its "easy". But thats not true, watercolors and inks are hard. So I was blocking my own style and creating an unecessary barrier bewteen my art and I because I felt what I was naturally inclined to do was not enough, it was just "too easy". But yeah, often what we feel is easy are things we are passionate about. But that's not always true. For instance, I think I draw noses pretty well and efortlessly, but I just couldn't care less about noses, heh. But yeah, this topic of style is quite complex (but also, really really simple in a way), so I'm sure I will record more videos. We can look at these concepts in different angles, and we also have to take into consideration who is the artist; and also we have to understand what we mean by style. So yeah, while I'm writing this I'm coming to the conclusion I REALLY need to record more videos on this, there is just so much to be said. Sorry for the super long reply, and thank you so much for the insightful comment and subscribing! =)

Opa, foram muitos ao longo dos anos. Na minha adolescencia, me inspirava muito nos artistas da TSR, tipo Larry Elmore, Keith Parkinson, Jeff Easley, Clyde Caldwell, gostava muito tambem do Todd Lockwood (mas que não era da TSR). Tive uma fase que me inspirava muito nos clássicos como Rembradnt, Renoir, Monet, Pissarro, Dali, etc. Mais tarde, me inspirei muito em Donato Giancola, Dan dos Santos, Jeff Miracola, Justin Gerard, Howard Lyon, Greg Manchess. Hoje em dia busco muita referência em Arthur Rackham, Edmund Dulac, James Gourney, Jean Baptiste Monge, Charles Vess, Moebius, Michael Kaluta, Yoshitaka Amano, e muitos outros. Não que eu não me inspire mais nesses anteriores, pelo contrário, consumo a arte deles constantemente, mas é mais uma questão de referencia mesmo. Desculpa a demora para responder, tinha meio que abandonado meu canal, e agora voltei com tudo! heh!

Tu já desenhava há algum tempo ou recém começou? As vezes a gente acaba criando um bloqueio por pensar demais. As vezes a melhor coisa é pegar qualquer material que seja, sem preparar nada, e simplesmente começar a rabiscar sem nenhuma intenção de "fazer algo". Como se estivéssemos só brincando com o lápis no papel. Nisso, geralmente, vem alguma ideia ou então vem um pouco da vontade de continuar algum desses rabiscos. Desenho é um processo. Muito raramente alguém senta na frente do papel e simplesmente tem uma ideia genial e começa a desenhar....isso quase nunca acontece. O que acontece é esse processo de rabiscar diferentes coisas e fazer com que esses rabiscos SE TRANSFORMEM em ideias. Tentar ter alguma super ideia para então começar a desenhar pode ser MUITO frustrante!

@@matsyaarts Desenhei a vida toda e ressentemente passou, sei que consigo desenhar, mas parece que estou perdendo tempo.

@@adrianolima4863 Tenta encarar de forma leve, como se fosse uma brincadeira. Não tenta levar a sério. Ou talvez ao invés de tentar "criar algo", pega alguma objeto ou alguma foto/imagem e tenta simplesmente desenhar o que tu vê, ai não precisa criar nada. Ai se tu quiser depois, pode transformar o objeto/imagem, e brincar dessa forma.
