Es muy posible que sin sus guitarras iniciales nada de lo que vino después habría sucedido.

This is a real treasure, thank you so much for uploading it. I’ve always had such respect for Daisy as a guitarist and songwriter. He contributed so much to early MM.

Reading Manson's autobiography, I got the impression that during the band's stint in New Orleans '96 and amidst the all the madness of recording Antichrist, Scott was the only serious and level-headed person of them all, even more so than Trent. Can't blame Scott for leaving.
@staggerlee7301Ай бұрын
The story about Trent breaking the guitar that Scott’s father had given him REALLY rubbed me the wrong way. I would’ve left too

@59:00 Its too bad that Daisy left the band when he did. Otherwise his opinions amd perceptions of ACSS would be mich more congratulatory and hed likely have more pride over his contributions.

Sadly, Scott did not evolved musically after Portrait. He wanted Suicide Snowman on Antichrist.....sorry but that was a Spooky Kids song, Manson left that sound/ concept/ image behind he was moving towards something else, i see why they couldn't work together. RIP Scott

Manson was actually 10 times better after Scott left. Antichrist, Mechanical and Holy Wood are Manson's masterpieces and have nothing to do with Scott

I always found it impressive that Pogo had literally zero experience with synths, samplers and such before joining - Especially because ive always found him to be a super underrated part of Manson's early sound. I've always felt the band lost a lot of it's atmosphere after Holy Wood (Pogo technically was around for Golden Age, but didnt take part in the recording. I think Tim Skold did the synths). Pogo may not have had formal training, but his synth, sampling and tape loop work was amazing.

hear things differently ! I've said for 30 years that any concert you go to has two different concerts at the same time , LSD or no LSD the choice is yours, when he said that I truly felt what he was saying and its very true , I haven't took any in 20 years but have to say I miss it .

I grew up in Ft Lauderdale in the 90s. That's one of the reasons I like the band, pure nostalgia. I remember all of this. They lost a lot when Scott left the band, he really was the creative force behind them. Their first album was the best one.

"Half of the music on it" is a real overstatement. He has songwriting credits on 5 songs, all of which along with someone else, mostly Twiggy and/or Pogo. One (1996) with Gidget. Riff-wise, Antichrist is mostly Twiggy's baby. One thing I'd say for Scott is that his guitar parts on Tourniquet are absolutely fantastic.
@brighthallwayblues7 ай бұрын
tourniquet is the stone cold banger on that album. didn’t know that airy guitar stuff was him.. makes sense! he was the best. and thank god also for twiggy to take over the helm for the bulk of that album. one of the best

He was the bassist for MM from 1990 to 1993. He had a bad heroin addiction which is why the band fired him.
