The Sasae was a piece of art. And Uke at An Changrims Drop Seoi Nage just dmiling while getting up shows the beauty of judo.

00:00:13 I could use this move to illustrate a comment. About @TheKarateNerd !! O Soto Guruma eady to remember as it's like. O Soto Gari but you replace Gari with Guruma. ( in my mind I shall replace a little Welder called Gary . With my Mama !)

Boy, that first Japanese player need to commit Sepukku. Even though she is way smaller that technique sucked ass.

great video! the technique and skill on display are truly impressive. i can't help but wonder, though, if some of these moves are becoming too predictable in high-stakes matches. what do you all think?

BS. Like Amanda Knox. Why does this always happen to US, UK, Australian in continental Europe, but never locals. Do your adventure seeking at home? I think that's what everyone wants.

I love judo. Stop at green belt. My teacher passed away a couple of years ago. I'm going back next year. Once my knee gets right. I'm going to work on getting my black belt. I'm going to be locked in. Devote all my energy, strength and time. Listen and practice. To achieve greatness. Getting my black belt. Will be my way to honor my late teacher. Telling him thank you for introducing to judo. Love that martial art.

Of course the black judoka represents France, lol. Brazil is unironically a more European country at this point.

0:55 is such a genius technique. Pressuring one leg and waiting for resistance to switch the leg and direction to have the initial counterforce help you. Beautiful

2 judokas step on the mat, neither knows what will happen or how their bodies will react. Its all in the spur of the moment. All the training pays off.
