The gear number was added using OBD11, but I think the rest was just one of the standard gauge views.

I’d imagine auto, the computer knows exactly when it needs to shift and will do it perfectly. A human is basically feeling it and being held back by the reaction time

for sure can get an extra 4-5mph around the bulb. Should be around 74ish mph.

OK too when he’s driving it looks like he’s in the 40s going all the way to six gear. How and why? Mine really struggles if I’m going 60 and try to make sure the RPMs are about 3500 or so and try to slide over into six gear and it’s not happy at all. Help?

It depends on the car. Cars have different gear ratios and different amounts of power which both influence which gear you'll be in.

@@symawdit is a 2014 Honda Civic SI? It’s the first six speed I’ve ever had and it did not like going into sixth when I tried to open it up on the highway. I was doing that when it got to almost 4000 RPM, but then it shot up and acted kind of angry. So I put it back in fifth. just got the car and I love it and I don’t want to mess it up. I’ve driven a lot of manuals but it’s been a minute. I just got this three days ago so I’m figuring it out. Any advice would be awesome. Love the channel.

@@50toinfinityatleast it's a 2014 in the video. It sounds like you accidentally went from 5th to 4th instead of 6th.

I think you can reach behind the grille and push the clips in. If not, you need a small flat blade to pry it out.

Much stickier. That was about 3 seconds quicker than my GR Corolla and temps were cold, so there wasn't much tire grip.

Congrats. It is definitely an accomplishment. I wanna know from anybody about how fast are you going before you’re able to engage in six gear? By that I mean for me so far, the RPM shoots up to 4000 -4500 and does not sound happy. I usually shift back into fifth. Any advice??
