I am glad she found Islam. But, please learn faith from the religion itself. Remember: true guidance comes from Allah.

Since you mention Prophet Mohammad peace be upon him, as your reference, did you know that he asks God for protection from the cunning of men كيد الرجال. Did you know that Prophet Jacob warned Yusuf from his cunning brothers?
@feminineresilience2 ай бұрын
Women are more cunning than men? They don't have the emotional ability to do so? Using a verse in Quran presenting the words of an Egyptian vezir whose wife had feelings for his servant isn't really the hard fact to build upon such claims 🤦🏻♀️
@feminineresilience2 ай бұрын
إن كيدهن عظيم. This wasn't said by God. It was the vizir who said that to Zuleikha's servants. It's important we learn this so we don't really use it to attach something to women that is not of their nature

Islam taught men how to be men 🙌🙌 so true. Although many Muslim men are falling behind on the definition of manhood in Islam

Absolutely loved this podcast episode! We need more of these conversations 🙌🏼 it was so nice to see someone finally articulate what so many of us are feeling every day, having Western ideas pushed down on us or being told how we (the rest of the world) should live like.

Thanks Dr Saliha. It's amazing you are doing this in Dubai of all places. I moved from Dubai to USA 5 years ago. I was tired of bottling my emotions that I couldn't vent out, express my disapproval of the injustice that was happening in Palestine, Yemen and Bahrain back then. I stopped following news and using social media because venting out would have led to deportation from UAE and I did not have the luxury to move to USA back then. Now that I am in USA, trying to protest for Palestine whenever I can (streets, encampments, city council meetings, etc), it is taking a toll on my mental health. Your advice of grounding yourself is very useful, also what has helped is my faith. I have tried to increase my understanding, work on my spiritual self. Recently I have tried to connect myself to the incident of Kerbala, and analyze it's nuances and implications. You are so right when you said that "grief gives you clarity". As a fellow Pakistani American, I am so thankful and proud of you.

This girl is getting constantly harassed and attacked by Muslims, strange how not single western islamophob or racist has ever attacked her once.

not wearing hijab, doesn't know about being beaten to a pulp, nothing about sex slave rights of the scumbags in islam. she doesn't have a CLUE what kind of sick cult she's fallen into. It's worse than joining NXIV. At some point she needs to snap out of it and unbrainwash herself.
