Now this is a real artist, not some brainless talentless pop star. Her vocal range and the timbral range is incredible. Glad I was in my 20s when this song came out. The 90s were a good decade.

I have mixed thoughts and feelings about the singer and artist Tori Amos and her rendering of this song, and of course the demise of Kurt Cobain. It all represents an era of music that is too depressing.

This! Tori is a true artist and very special talent…her voice captivates and the piano arrangement is just stunningly beautiful ❤️🎼🎵🎹

I've watched most of the Marvel Universe beyond 2018 but this is probably one of the most tone-deaf and irrelevant interpretations of a decade forming set of music tropes.

People are not genetically different today. It’s a simple fact of life that someone like that only comes around once in a couple of decades.

Love this version. I connected right away with this version more than the original although I have nothing but massive reapect for Kurt Cobain. Maybe as an angsty young girl all those years ago, this was more accessible and relatable for me.

Original lyrics are by Федор Тютчев, famous Russian poet.

Wow. I've hated this song from the first moment I heard it. It destroyed the entire style of music I grew up to love. This was amazing. After all these years, now I can appreciate what this song was. A work of art.

I just saw this for the first time and I am amazed by this performance. For me, it rates up there with Ms Angelina Jordan’s performance on America’s Got Talent as she sang, “Bohemian Rhapsody”.

You guys need to stop glazing this, this was not that great. I felt no transfer of emotion in her playing, it felt like she was about to have an orgasm in the mic for most of it and the piano was a bit anti climactic

If Kurt did commit suicide, it is so very sad and tragic ,You really can be moved to Tears thinking about it, I have cried for kurt. But I find comfort in that we are honouring his memory in listening to his music and covers of his music, he was such a groundbreaking artist. This rendition by Tori Amos is amazing, it's like a teardrop for every stroke of the Keys !!! 😄

It’s amazing how a good cover can change how you feel about a song. I never really thought about how depressing these lyrics are before, since the song is originally so angry.
