Close the lid by first pressing the plunger, then close the lid - a silent close. Otherwise, eventually you will wear out the latch and the watch will require a repair.

I got mine since 2010 and they were the most durable headphones i had (they broke today after falling for the last time), but i wil fix them.

Paid over $400 for in ear monitors back when they had permanent wiring...got six months until fraying wires led to 3 more months of liquid rubber repairs before a permanent severance. Unfixable. Shure wouldn't recognize ebay OR Amazon sales as from "authorized dealers." Felt cheated and never went back. Good riddance.

Just simply put some shampoo or conditioner in dry hair, rub it in gently, maybe wait 30 seconds, and then rinse it out. It'll break down the oils & waxes in dry hair, and then the water will rinse it all out. You'll feel it all come out as you rinse your hair. Sometimes I'll shampoo the normal way after doing this first. Doing this technique, you can use the toughest to wash products. It'll always come out easy.

I guess you get you paid for but this weak point must be known to Shure. All they have to do is to strengthen the link.

Interesting. I purchased the SM version and it came with a hard case leather brown. I know the black case with magnetic closure was made for the 'original' version. That is wrong. I would go back to the person who sold it to you if I was you. There is massive difference between the case you show and the SM.

Just bought mine here in Sweden! Looking forward to see how good it is compared to the plastic (imo, trash) shaker! 💪

How do you open the back

I've had my shure 840's for 4 years now. I use them for personal usage, not for work and recently my left side broke off just like it describes on the video. First, hairline crack then snap. These headphones have been good till now. The headband obviously is not a professional solid structure since the weak point is at the adjustment hinge. I am not sure if they have lifetime warranty. After watching this video am going to purchase another brand in its price range. I am disappointed shure manufacturer customer service did not respond to his attempts to resolve the matter.

Interesting. I have been using it for more than 5 years and no such problem. Just the pad and the headband's outer layer starts to cracked into small pieces due to wear and tear.

Same crap on my shure headphones after 6-7 times of use. I paid $169 for these cheaply made headphones.What a rip off, I thought I was the only one.

Had the Shure 840 headphones and the cheap plastic head band breaks yearly. When I get in touch with Shure they will exchange them and twice I've paid $100 to Shure to replace them and they keep breaking every year. got a pair now that has done the same thing. I've told Shure about this and they don't care they won't change the material. I've cared for them and didn't overstretch the parts but the plastic part that extends breaks. I would not recommend these headphones.

The absolute same story with my Shure SRH 440. I wrote to Shure as well, with no result. What a shame!

I've had SRH440s for 10 years. Stepped on them 2 years ago. Fixed them. I basically broke them because I listened to them in bed and sometimes dropped them next to the bed when I fell asleep. If you take care of these they will last.

Mine broke just 15 minutes ago. I had to fold the right side and keep the left side unfolded. It sucks

I had my shure 840's replaced 3 times, and they just broke again out of warenty. It is a shame for me the shures are the best audio quality on the market.

I have had this watch since it was released but over the last year have had a major problem with the charging/connection where I have to keep putting it in and move it around to get a connection. I have found now that the only way I can get a connection is by using WD40 - I have bought a couple of new leads but it make no difference as it is the same with all of them SO I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS WATCH. There are a number of people with the same issue so it is definitely a design fault.

Just picked up one these guitars from a garage sale for 60$ bucks ! All the logos were scratched off ?? Thinking it was a divorce guitar and someone defaced it , what a shame ! This particular model has a XLR plug near the jack input and a LC 5 tuner as well , plays and sounds awesome! Score

dont recomend it ... i have 3 with double click from factory ( the one i bougth and 2 more sent to replace the first and second)...for all users avoid buying logitech's expensive products. Now im looking how i can replace the switches.
