This is a great reveal into the mindset of the people who are waiting eagerly for the command to kill us and our families. This guy is so far gone, even Dr Strangelove would be afraid of him. His language is chilling, inhuman and I believe satanic. We need to stop and remove control of the nuclear weapon arsenal and the readiness doctrine from the military. Put them all back in a warehouse under the control of the President and the cabinet, as it was before the days of SAC.

The United States military wants "acceptable" nuclear exchanges and "designated 2024 as the year of action" & 2025 "the year of acceleration". Get yourself ready for getting nuked. Don't look at the flash... "General Cotton has designated 2024 as the year of action and 2025 now becomes the year of acceleration and we are moving out to that end ... If and when directed by the President we are ready to prevail in conflict. Make no bones about it, that’s what our forces, your forces, the Air Force, Navy forces that make up the three legs of the triad do every day, prepare for that potential eventuality ... We can no longer compartmentalize the threats individually but we must be prepared to deter and confront them in-chorus across the spectrum of conflict ... We certainly don’t want to have an exchange ... If we have to have an exchange then we want to do it in terms that are most acceptable to the United States."

Hamas "deliberately hides in civilian populations". Do they? Or do fathers and sons go home and the Israelis kill them, their mothers and their siblings? At what point is this an "army hiding in the population" and not "an indigenous population fighting against invaders and occupiers"?

BRICS and the new Sino-Russo alliance will end the post-WWII American dollar dominance, and I pray it does soon so we in the US can rip the band-aid off and start anew before the nuclear glee discussed here in this video by "experts" becomes a reality.

Get it through your thick skull! We want coexistence, where our families can go on living to build a better future. You, Mr Buchanan and people like you just want to see the world to burn!

Chinese industry policy is to corner the worldwide market in every sector that they get into. US let the private sector decide which industry to get into based on supply and demand. If the US private sector managed to corner an industry, it doesn’t lead to a conflict between countries but rather competition between companies. Whereas if Chinese govt managed to corner an industry, it leads to a conflict between countries and potentially even a war.

If 'The 5 nuclear weapons states...'. You mean China, Russia, India, Pakistan, North Korea!, France, Britian, America, and sometimes Israel. Those 5? The new math, which nicely compliments the 2+2=5 belief of the transgenderism ideology. I think they're somehow (NWO/UN/WEF) related.

My question is whether any think-tank discussion groups ever consider that the crux of these issues is the desire to rule the world and projecting that paradigm upon every other nation or people group? Perhaps in some alternate reality nations including exceptional America could cooperate for the flourishing of mankind rather than competing to destroy mankind.
@britlitemailКүн бұрын
If we're interested in a civil and productive discussion, I'd offer the following: Is it their job? Their primary concern is international relations from a US-focused perspective, how we fit into things and how goings-on around the world affect our interests. I don't disagree with you, it should be the case that we aim for a world where every person has a voice, all nations are involved in steering the course of our planet as a whole (ideally away from the entire thing catching fire after we're beyond the point of no return from climate change eh?), etc. But this particular set of issues (nukes, who has them, who's trying to get them, how we mutually convince each other not to use them) is of critical importance until we can somehow manage the seemingly-impossible task of nuclear disarmament. This is especially relevant to your point hoping that we could work together not to destroy mankind. This sort of work focused on deterrence (and ideally eventual disarmament/reduction in # of warheads/delivery systems) is exactly what you're describing, people thinking about what to do to prevent the destruction of society as we know it. I think (and hope) the IR-focused think tanks will continue to do their work, and it's up to you and me and everyone else in society to steer things where we want to go through the electoral process, and more importantly through grassroots organizing and helping one another. My $0.02.

@britlitemail well, if one considers the general disposition of the BRICS alliance core member states and the secondary participating nations as well, these are taking a thoughtful and cooperative approach regarding exonimic development and infrastructure construction in a collaborative posture. It appears intended to bolster human flourishing at a basic preliminary level. Time will tell how human rights are regarded within this group. Arbitrary ideological adversarial posturing particularly regarding a modern warfare tactic of economic sanctioning and seizure of assets, restrictions upon free trade, etc are the international relations posture of western nations figureheaded and guided fundamentally by America and UN associated international banking cartel members, IMF, BIS, World Bank, Swift settlement system, with input and guidance of the WEF and Club of Rome. Effectively the 'glibalists' whom are seeking subordination of sovereign nations to some supranational governance model. Curiously the 'West' of late has been verdently engaged in legislative suppression of personal freedoms and economic activity, if you hadn't noticed. Regarding your alarmist stance on 'climate change' or 'global warming'; having been long familiar with public documents produced by the Club of Rome outlining it's plan for centralization of governance, circa 1970, utilizing climate alarnism to foment fear and 'emergency' conditions which typically result in suspension of personal freedoms and centralization of governance with suspension of democratic bodies and procedures which is what is presently being accomplished. Or may be that you have been more influenced by propaganda than you are conscious of or perhaps willing to admit. If you are a strong supporter of the UN's sustainable development goals and the WHO's international pandemic treaty I assert that you have been 'socially engendered' towards compliance with global totalitarianism.

We have 6 people who have more money than half the country. One of them lied and stayed illegaly. Seize that persons assets. Support education. Adjust taxation that targets the lowest productivity persons.. thats ceos, and multi billion dollar coperations. Stop subsidising those industries that create wealth inequality that make many of their workers turn to sec 8 and wellfare, provide better low cost healthcare and affordable childcare. Privitization only means adding middle men and administrative bloat while cutting worker pay and reduces benifits to those they serve.

My stab on the question about why Luzon corridor? Bec as an investor you want your investment to have more milage and advantage with its already existing infra. Now once the investment grows and progress more then spillover happens and spreads more outside that corridor and towards other places in the PH. But investing to a region with more capex due to lesser infra then the return will be less (due to opex) and future expansion will be less and slower as well for growth. Be patient mga kabayan. What is important is vote wisely, responsibly and peace and unity to prevail, thinking of the future not with short sightedness of politics and avoid destabilization para sa atin din ito.

Oil and gas are clearly important energy contenders. However any discussion about energy dominance needs to absolutely include coal as well. As far as natural gas is concerned, you can bet that Europe wants nothing more than to get back to business as usual with Russia. LNG which is currently replacing much of the Russian pipeline gas is really a measure of last resort. LNG is energetically much more expensive to produce than pipeline gas. Consequently LNG costs roughly 4x the pipeline gas that was coming from Russia. Europe is finding out the hard way that you cannot run an economy only on LNG.
