Aprilia were competitive for about an hour at the beginning of the season 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣. I reckon this season is Jorge Martin’s best chance to win a world title. I doubt if aprilia can build a Ducati beater for next season. I actually believe, that even if Ducati stopped developing the GP24 and didn’t launch a GP25 for next season, they are so far ahead that the other teams still couldn’t catch them.

Wow! Why? I love watching him on the Ducati. He’s clearly enjoying the racing again and it would be a proper shame for him to go back to wasting his immense talents on the underperforming Honda. I love the smile on his face, when he’s racing at the front of the pack, where he rightly belongs. This was the right thing to do, absolutely. And I can hardly wait until next season, when he’s on the GP25 and has the right tools to fight for the world title again.

I think at this point Marc will probably focus on next year, now that he’s achieved his primary goal of securing the factory bike for next season. There’s no point risking serious injury which would affect him next season. After his struggles in Germany, it’s safer to take the long view and focus on learning as much as possible about the bike ahead of a full championship campaign next year. That GP23 bike is clearly not a match for the GP24, which Ducati will continue to develop as the season goes on. This season is gone - Marc will get 3rd place in the championship at best. Thanks for stopping by sir. Maverick is widely regarded as a generational talent, and I agree that he certainly appears to be one of those riders that need the right environment to thrive. Its taken him a while to finally win on the Aprilia, and so I hope this means they have finally found the key to unlocking his full potential.
