I don't get it.. it looks to be a great product at a good price but there's no information other than this vid. Who/what is Octane 🤔.. Is Blackfoot the only dealer? Seems to be a best kept secret.

Quick shifter on the SP is not smooth.. .what are you talking about? 1-2 QS is almost unusable ... they need to turn down the blip time..

@timsSUPERvideos2 жыл бұрын
@@422shaun I hope no one is shifting before 3500 RPM but it's not really a problem it's an annoyance. The QS time isn't as smooth as this guy is advertising is what I'm saying. They definitely can take 50-80ms out of that 1-2 blip.

The most insulting part of this video is that I bought this jacket from you guys. Alex was there, walked directly past me twice never offered to help (didn't even make eye contact, I was trying!). Finally got some help from someone else who glazed over all this (she was very nice but didn't seem very keen to spend too much time on a new rider). So here I am watching a video on it to learn how it works. It would have been great if you could have been even remotely helpful in person. Your customer service game could learn from this video 😂

I also have a 2022 SP and the only problem I see with these bikes are the proprietary software, not to mention that very tight airbox and the catalytic converter which can cause overheating on hot days. Not an ordinary bike to try to tune due to the software.

What will you use for internal beefed up parts to reliably handle all that power and torque?
@peaceprayer5952 жыл бұрын
There is nothing inside the YZ250 that the 500 cannot handle. That's a fact. If you abuse the clutch, you may need to replace it, but that's it. You really don't need to clutch this 500 like a CR500. It's that good of a transplant.

I just bought a new shoei rf1400, and I'm just stuck between xs vs. small. I'm 152 cm (in height), and head circumference is 21 inches. The hardest part is, do I go with the one that is more snug (xs), or do I go with a slightly bigger and wear a head liner for that snug feeling? If I wear the same head liner in xs helmut than the helmut is very tight. In the xs helmut I would say I feel pressure points around the back of my head but not to the point that I'm in pain. I also don't feel pressure points in the forehead. Any advice is helpful at this point because I'm driving myself mad with this lol not an easy $900 choice 🙃
@blackfootonline2 жыл бұрын
You seem to be in a pickle here. Make sure you are using the checklist. CHECKLIST: 1. There are not any HOTSPOTS. 2. Your CHEEKS are squeezed like a CHIPMUNK. 3. The helmet should not be easy to PUT ON or OFF. With what you're describing, it does seem like you are going to be going with a Small. Pressure points are never good, it means the shell is pushing against your skull. In the moment of wearing the helmet, it is easy to pass away the slight pain but you have to put yourself in a realistic scenario on 3-4 hours riding sessions. It would be extremely irritating. If you are local, you can always pass by and fit the helmet and hang around while wearing the helmet just to see how you feel after a while.
@petrapatrman42972 жыл бұрын
Thank you for taking the time to reply to me. Much appreciated. I actually decided to go with the xs, and we'll hope for the best lol no I took it to a motorcycle shop and they said it will stretch half it's size and the small looked slightly too big. Fingers crossed, of course 🙏
