I'm going to note that i need to watch this about 100 more times in case i ever run into this fight again and don't want to get murdered by my co healer, I was the worst healer in this trial this time and the first tiem. i cleared. i was bard or SAM

You are most probably one of those brain washed uneducated that are satisfied of massacres happening in middle east (ever heard of Palesine? no? Gaza?), unsubbed, going to avoid your channel like a plague. I will never understand how could anyone take pleasure of the misfortune of others. Remember that "what goes around comes around".

as a perpetual newbie, reaching this trial guide and realizing, now that I'll be playing an expansion as it comes out, I won't be able to search up the TSDS guide before I do any trial is almost as sad as the actual plot of the game right here

why is there a 12 minute guide for a 5 minute normal content fight wtf
@TomScottDoesStuff2 ай бұрын
My dude you know that explaining the rules can often require more time than the game itself right? Especially explanations designed to give any new player the ability and confidence to clear these more complicated encounters - but If you want the short version: Engage the boss > avoid his mechanics > kill the boss. Also the guide part of the video is about 9:30m long and recordings of the encounter for this video at the time ranged from 8-10 mins long so we're on the money if that's what you care about 👍
@killyourtelevision9992 ай бұрын
Good grief. The man does this to help us, and there are a dozen mechanics and they are complex.

Thanks Tom! Your guides for trials have been brilliant. I'll usually watch as I'm queueing for the trial (DPS so takes a while), it always helps with anxiety and getting through without the party wiping. Subscribed so I can keep up with any future guides.

The music always goes hard in your guides. I even got myself that ancient eJay music software.
@TomScottDoesStuff2 ай бұрын
Nice one. Not many people comment on the music but good to hear it's not ass. I can't even make any more music it seems because the software is not compatible with Windows 10. Though it generally seemed abandoned anyway. I hope you can make some good tracks, it's pretty fun software.

That sort of shoot-shoot-shoot-dodge roll-dodge roll rhythm really takes me back to my Bow-using days.
@TomScottDoesStuff4 ай бұрын
Yeah it's wild how much a ranged weapon changes the game. I'm glad I spent the time re-keybinding the hell out of the controls and then learning how to actually play with the keyboard and mouse. I would like to see elemental ammo done away with and simply have elemental damage on ranged weapons directly. There's really only like 2 HBGs worth building until the super end game and I prefer having at least a handful of different elements of a weapon built.

Out of interest what do you think of these first-time videos? Do you enjoy seeing my first encounters with some of these new monsters or is it better when I'm already familiar with them? Let me know! If you enjoy these types of videos I can do more of them, otherwise I'll go through more of the story by myself and make videos (when I have the time lol) once I'm more experienced with the fights.
