Kevin turned 50 last month. Although some of the animals are no longer with him he gave them the best life he possibly could. Meg 2:05 would have been 4 years old at the time of this video is now 21 and is still besotted and loves Kevin the same way she did as a cub, has does the black leopard that was shown who is about 20 years old.

You can learn to become a plumber, study to be a doctor, but what this kind hearted HERO does comes straight from the heart and soul!! I loved his comment about man interfering the day we put them in cages! He is doing so much more!! I am proud to be a fellow concerned South-African!! Bonding with these heavy weight strong animals is risky task..but i think u raised them from cubs..but they r ferocious and on the other hand they can be gentle..if they maintain a gud bond with u..u r in many ways a lucky person

That's Ischa, the lioness he had to put to sleep after finding her full of cancer during a spay procedure. There's a video on it on Kevin's channel. Super sad video. He was holding her massive paw as she passed on. Rest peacefully, Ishca.

They’ll live on the sanctuary too - he said in the video that once they’re a few weeks old they’ll be introduced to the dad & rest of the pride.

I still believe to this day, Kevin has the soul of a lion. God created a very unique, special being when he created Kevin. He’s an earth angel for these beautiful animals. This runs much deeper than education, wisdom and understanding.

15y after posting, Kevin still educates and shares the plight of the majestic lion. His work continues, and small change is happening in the canned hunting industry. Lester should revisit Kevin's Sanctuary and maybe give an update since then. @lesterholt
