@jhstiger None of the SWAC arrangements of NEck sound the same even AlaSU changed theirs so it doesn't sound like SU's
@SonicBoomC9814 жыл бұрын
@Tigerwarhawk You gotta be kidding me. 1. This arrangement got nothing on JSU. 2. JSU plays all kinda different songs and dynamic variations. 3. No band sounds like JSU did the 80s including every MEAC band. Bands just don't arrange their songs that way. JSU and a lot of schools played in lower keys and a different style from today. And I'd take a 90's Boom over and 80's. Don't hate cause every song all play is boring. Some of JSU songs are straight Power. But others are pretty and others mix

Everyone is entitled to their two pennies, even you. Don't equate loud with better. Cookman has one of the loudest versions of Big Ballin and they play it well, but it's a simple version. Go back and listen to MBC's version, theirs is a little more musical than Cookman's and to me, that's what makes it better than Cookman's.

No this is not MBC's version, but I must say that when MBC played Bethune back in the day, Big Ballin was one of MBC's signature songs long before Bethune started playing this. Check some of the old clips of MBC vs Bethune. The MBC version is more melodic than this one, though this one is good too. Jackson State plays a nice version this as well and just as loud if not louder, but in Jackson's version, the drums are more distinctive throughout the song.

dat was clean.but i think its a tie between jsu drum majors and bcu(JUST AN OPINION)
@kidd59523 жыл бұрын
No flex I like jsu and these 2 (bcu and jsu) are the best but jsu don't do nothing but the same routine in and off the field. The same "Get Ready"to routine.

So one section playing the same note in one part of one fanfare means their band plays in unison now? I guess the rest of the world needs new orchestration books cause we are apparently behind.

No dummy your wrong i Said that they played a Unison note i never stated which horn played it but i said simply that they are holding on to one note. It's funny that you think that oe note don't matter it's even more funny that the one note stands out hard. Your the one who said "The Fhorn are playing that note". So your the only one looking dumb buddy.
@SoundsFromTheSidelines15 жыл бұрын
yea they do you just ..lmao u must be from meac country....gotta be...lmao @trying to twist the unison note issue around at first you were saying that pb plays unison notes as in "all the brasss doubling up" then when I tell you thats the fhorn part you trying to not look dumb and WRONG and say "well arent the fhorns playing in unison?" lmao give it up dude...its a freaking fanfare everyone has atleast heard fierce unless they have been living underwater since 01...SMH
@SHINE91215 жыл бұрын
I'm stupid but you said it didn't have a unison note LMAO but i'm the dumb ass do you even march in UAPB band? not everyone knows it for that part LMAO because not everyone know this fanfare.
