You would catch more if you put a treble hook on it size ten then stick it in its eye and do a half hitch around the tail they always eat the minnows heads first while I are too picky. You need to use the treble hook I promise

Lake Norfork walleye still at times just bedevill the hell outta me but using live bait on a slip sinker rig either letting him run with it and not feel any tension works best but sometimes I can tease them by pulling my bait a couple inches when they peck and they'll get more aggressive letting me catch them

Stinger hook. Use slip sinker and when the fish starts to bite let your line freespool for a 10 count then close your bail and pick up on the rod. In that 10 count with no line tension they will turn the bait and start swallowing it.
