Thank you for sharing Dave. Curious where you parked? Driving from East to Ferrari Ranch I've wondered where to park to use the bike trail. Do you have to have line of sight for this video? Sorry for all the questions, I'm a newbie both to Lincoln and to drone world. Really appreciate learning from you. Cheers!

Dave, I have two requests. I don't know if they are possible, but if it can be done you could. The easier request - film "running the bases" from the perspective of the batter. The other request - I'd like to "ride on the ball" as a batter hits a home run. I don't know if your drone can copy the flight path or not, but I think it would be an interesting view point. Thanks and take care, friend.

Thank you for sharing Dave. We are new to the area but looking forward to attending a game. Question for you - what is the building getting the new roof? Looks like it is right next to horseshoe pits. Is this a community center or some sort? We see the large facility next to the pool which appears to be a dining hall. Thanks again for your videos, hope to run into to you in person again one of these days. Cheers

The building is getting the new roof is a rifle range. They also teach gun safety there. It’s been empty for several years but I think they’re in the process of restoring it. There is a large community center also in the park. Lots of events occur there. Welcome to our community. I hope you enjoyed it as much as we do. Look for me along the first baseline handicap seating at the baseball game. We are season ticket holders. By the way, there are pickle ball courts and horseshoe pits. I know if you play horseshoes they welcome players.

Hello Dave, just amazing thank you for sharing. We met you with our grandson the other day at Coyote Pond and Henry can't stop talking about your drone. He's made up his mind that as soon as he turns "8" he is getting one. I confess I know nothing about drones or flying, especially FPV, I think that's what it's referred to. I was shocked how far you flew at the pond and the quality of the video. What I didn't understand was how you managed to avoid lines, trees, etc. while wearing the goggles and using the remote joystick. Then you really blew my mind with this video of your backyard and flying through trees and under tables. Wow! Is this something a complete beginner, never used before person like me could learn? Any and all advice would be greatly appreciated. We've gone through all your park videos as we are new to Lincoln, they are great and thank you so much for sharing. Best regards.

@@stevesheffield45 it was really wonderful meeting you and your grandson. The FPV is a wonderful hobby. The DJI Avata 2 or 3 or 4 by the time he is ready is a great drone. There are cheap toy drones but they won’t last or give you the same experience. As far as how to use it do a search on KZbin. Lots of good videos on how to fly. When you are ready I’d be happy to show him some of the tips.

@@stevesheffield45 I’m 67. It doesn’t have obstacle avoidance. It does help you from crashing into the ground. When flying there is a dot on the screen where it is going to go. Put the dot where you want to go, it will go. Watch a few videos on KZbin and you will be able to fly. Some will say you have to buy the separate controller. You don’t. The motion controller is all you need. The combo kit with 3 Batteries, a charging hub and bag are worth it. Also the DJI insurance is worth getting.

@@stevesheffield45 there are two kinds of pilots. Those that have crashed and those that are going to crash. The biggest thing I’ve seen is that people try to go too fast, too soon. Never fly indoors. Fly in a wide-open area till you learn how to fly. New drones always come with extra props for a reason. I know it’s a major investment. DJI has a care refresh program that is worth buying. You crash they fix it. If you would ever like to get together, I can let you try one of mine.
