Are these bulbs still available? If yes, where? I need some for my stretch limousine, a Lincoln Town Car. Year 2000. The same problem exists in the EU or in Germany with the headlamps in front. The HB5 headlights are not allowed. How did you solve the problem? Many Thanks

You must check www.aliexpress.com and likely you find them. But the final result, is bit about the luck. I did not need to deal with the headlights, since my Caprice is EU version sold in Switzerland as new car. It even came with EU amber taillights on the corner, but I prefer my solution us tail lights. But since that video, I moved the turn signal in to middle section and other two remains position lights, like 77-79 Caprice. Other idea, check who is working with Mustangs in you location, they often needs to solve the turn signals as well. Perhaps they can make some custom pcb board with LED lights into your Lincoln.

Those are the Quiet Flows? Is it just the video or do they actually still sound pretty loud, bassy, and rumbley? Im trying to get something to really quiet down my Nova. Are the Walker Quiet flows still going to be too loud?

Yes these are Walker super quiet mufflers. The noise level is acceptable and still gives you nice v8 rumble. And yet you can turn the noise level down with the additional set of resonators. Good luck with your Nova!

@@lukasprazan8394 Thanks for getting back to me. So would you compare them to as loud as say Flowmaster 44s or something performance like that, or more like an older Ford pickup which would have actually sounded pretty quiet back in the day?

Thanks for confirming, I will swap the standard filament bulb over to a yellow one and will hopefully give me an amber light

That is a great discovery you've done there! If I get it right; the YELLOW LED will emit AMBER light trough a RED lens, possibly due to the high wattage of the LEDs ? I've always thought it would only still produce RED light due to the density of the lens? Thus I've always converted US tail lights by wiring the brake/ind lights to the backup light socket and replaced bulb with amber and then pulled a separate wire from brake light switch to the lamps. But then of course you'd have to delete backup lights...

European restriction about red turn signal is a stupid......i drive my caprice with red turn signal..........

L. Noordijk I'm from Madrid(Spain)the only way to drive an american classic car in spain,with red turn signals is with historic license plate........today we've done the historic license........cars with 30 years old is available.........

I don't like the amber rear turn singals on European cars. I prefer the red ones on classic British and American cars. I made a mod that interrupts the braking and turn signal ring for my Renault, so I can use amber turn signals if a cop is behind me, or red ones when I want to.

This seems like a step backwards, like saying "I dont like a superior lighting system so I will retrofit it with a more ambiguous lighting arrangement. I hate it that USA-sold vehicles can have red lights, sometimes the same bulb, do the work of hazards and indictors and brake lights and tail lights. It can be confusing, especially if a bulb on the other side of the car is burned out, as to know what the driver intends.

Those aren't 60w. The sockets aren't rated for that. Maybe 6W leds.

Lol 5 watts. They are called 60w but really only draw maybe 10-15 watts at most. 60w cree leds...Its just what they're called...

Red tail turn signals are allowed in the EU if it's stock on the car. The same for white front turn signals

There can be red tail turn signal cover, not red flash. It must shine orange. Front turn signal can also be white but must give amber light. Red turn signal light can only be used on military vehicles and on older vehicles (cca 50´s and before) and on historic vehicles in EU. Same for front turn signal case /except military vehicles (must be orange/amber)/.

You are not correct. Cars from factory use just 2 bulbs out of 3 for indication of brakes or turn signal. I use all 3 on each side;-)

Sorry,jetzt erst entdeckt.Hätte mich auch interessiert Details,sind mir unwichtig. Maschine,Blech und Elektrik ist bei mir gefragt. Der Diplo,wird schon lange in anderen Händen sein. ( Verm. Importkosten ect). Ich suche immer noch einen Diplo-A in Germany. Gruß... Paul.

@nenno31 Ono zase ruku na srdce... Tatru nesrazili na kolena komunisté, ale stalo se to až za této demokratické vlády. Byl jsem v Kopřivnici v tatrovce a teď tím nemyslím muzeum, a bylo smutný, že kdysi tak silná automobilka měla na lince, slovy "ČTYŘI" nákladní tatry. Pán co tam s námi byl mi ukazoval letecký snímek z roku 1985 a Tatrovky na vývoz stály úplně všude.

I have got a very good hint for you to keeping the nice old V8 Engine in good shape with todays ultra dry eco fuels: Use 1:100 API TC two stroke oil / fuel mix as regular driving fuel, that keeps the old fuel-system gaskets, rubber parts, alloy parts etc... and cast iron metal surfaces of those vintage engines in excellent shape...and it also lubricates the valves and upper piston regions. Most Porsche vintage owners in Germany do so :) Also keeps carbs and tank clean and rustfree

An den Türverkleidungen glaube ich die aufwendigen Armlehnen des Diplomat zu erkennen, ebenfalls sieht man auf der Hutablage the Luftschlitze der Heckscheibenentfrostung, ebenfalls ein Diplomat-Merkmal (Sonderausstattung im Kapitän/Admiral). Ich vermute, daß es sich bei diesem Wagen um einen Diplomat handelt, bei dem die Metallblenden des Admiral die spröde und brüchig gewordenen Echtholzfurnierblenden(!) des Diplomat ersetzen. Beim KAD B war es dann Holzfolie, beim A aber noch Echtholzfurnier.

Liebe Tschechen , warum habt Ihr uns (Westdeutschen) diese schönen Autos vorenthalten und uns blos billige Skodas verkauft ? Der T603 hätte sich hier bestimmt auch gut verkaufen lassen . Gehört zusammen mit T77 ,T87 ,Citroen DS ,CX undGSA zu den schönsten Autos der Welt .

@lorentzkracht I wonder if this was meant to be dubbed or sub-titled and then shown in foreign markets? When this was filmed, Tatra was actively trying to export the 603 to the West, and certainly some were sold, as there are antique 603s in California and in Canada.
