Greetings my friend 😊 Well you have done it again, another spectacular video 📹 It's far too early for a cocktail so I'm having some strawberry 🍓 kiwi 🥝 water. I'm sorry that I'm late to the party 🥳 My husband had yesterday off and I don't watch videos when he is home. I remember my kitchen in California. The "country" look was all the rage!! All of my pictures and ceramic jars had lovely pictures in dusty rose 🌹 and cornflour blue. My kitchen table was a hexagon with a glass top and the chairs were gold with crushed velvet seats. I've always had a bread 🍞 box, I just love them. When we moved into our house 🏠 I decided that I wanted something different so I decided on all black and white. I had a big table made of blonde wood with white tiles on the top. All of the appliances were black and white. The dishes were black and looked lovely on the white tiles. Very modern 👌 Now in the condo the kitchen is painted 🎨 a happy yellow 💛 with a burgundy trim around the bay window 🪟 I have fairy 🧚‍♀️ lights too. The breakfast nook has a round wooden table with fresh flowers 💐 and a box of See's candy for guests to snack on. On the walls are prints of the Impressionists and I also have a Ralph Stedman. He drew all of the illustrations for Hunter S. Thompson. I've got a signed copy of the big red cadillac and the bats from Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. I have glass doors on the cupboards that have my shotglass and wine 🍷 glass collection. There's a little table against the wall that have all of my candles 🕯on which I swap out. Greetings my friend 😊 I'm sorry that I'm late to the party 🥳 I'm enjoying a lovely cocktail 🍸 of vodka and soda with lime. My neighbor came over to visit me and have a cocktail 🍸 He is 80 and lost his wife several years ago and recently had a stroke. He gets lonely 🥺 and we have a wonderful time talking about movies and books 📚 and how we grew up. He's 20 years older than myself but still spry!! My fur babies love him, hahaha, he sits in my husband's chair in the kitchen nook and plays with them. I remember that my son had a rather small bedroom in California and I bought him a captins bed with drawers as soon as he grew out of his crib. It was a lifesaver!! He had a table next to his bed with a tape recorder on it so he could listen to relaxing music 🎶 after I tucked him in and told him the story of the big white fluffy cloud. He had night terrors and this was my way of soothing him into a sweet long snooze 😴 I also had a dresser that was an antique piece and his leggos were on top of it. We painted 🎨 a wall a soothing green and I had throw pillows on the bed to match. There was a wooden milk crate in the corner that eventually held his video games and in the bottom were extras. There was a Cookie 🍪 Monster chair with big googly eyes. Someone had thrown it out and I restored it. There were wind chimes in the window 🪟 and a massive poster of the world 🌎 and all of the whales 🐋 that swam in the ocean. It was warm and safe. A small room but cozy. Hard to get ideas for modern spaces when all your pictures show rooms depending heavily on towering ceilings and bygone architectural details. The enormous windows, wallpaper, endless wall space for builtin bookcases, and large rooms suggest they would better fit in a chateau or large manor house than the houses and apartments we actually live in. An attempt to duplicate elements of one of these rooms would end with deep disappointment. But the pictures are beautiful.

I've plopped down with a lovely cocktail 🍸 of vodka and soda with lime. I have an Old Fashioned Cinnamon candle 🕯 for ambiance. It's a rather grey wet day in Washington State. The fur babies are with Daddy. I really enjoy this content 😌 After we moved out of the apartment and into our first house 🏠 in California and I was pregnant with my eldest daughter I truly enjoyed this style!! I would wear long dresses and skirts that were tye dyed and made out of natural fibers. I loved maxi dresses!! I had sandals made of leather and turquoise jewelry. I had wide legged pants with flowers 💐 I remember in the living room there were masks on the walls and rattan chairs with cream cushions. I had a beautiful white marble table. Everything was very natural. I think that it had something to do with my first little girl?? Oh yes, I was a hippie, lol, but no plants, I've got a black thumb 😄 I loved big chunky jewelry and especially earrings!! Plump pillows on the couch 🛋 it was a marvelous time!! Greetings my friend 😊 Well this was simply lovely 😍 Often times you forget about the bathroom!! It's too early for a cocktail 🍸 so I'm enjoying a kiwi 🥝 strawberry 🍓 Propel water 💧 I'm burning 🔥 a Snickerdoodles For Santa 🎅 candle 🕯 for ambiance. It started off a gloomy rainy 🌧 day here in Western Washington but the sun 🌞 has come out and it is clear and cold 🥶 One of my fur babies 😺 has joined me. When we first moved to Washington State we lived in Oakville in an old farm house 🏠 with one bathroom. There was no shower but there was a gorgeous big claw foot bathtub which was excellent for washing 3 wiggling little girls 😀 There was a window you could open up and lace curtains. When we moved to Lacey we had a stunning master suite bathroom with a garden tub and large shower 🚿 and a walk in closet. Since we've downsized we're living in a condo. The downstairs bathroom is long and narrow. There is a door 🚪 separating the shower 🚿 from the rest. There are flowers 💐 stenciled on the top of the walls by the ceiling. Green and pink like a trellis. Of course I have candles 🕯 and fluffy towels and rugs. No tub though, if I want a bath I have to go upstairs. The shower 🚿 curtain is see through, it's been that way for most of my life. "Psycho" affected me so, I need to see if someone is going to stab me, haha 😄 Well I've prattled on. Greetings my friend 😊 Well this is different!! It's captured my attention!! I'm settled in with my lovely cocktail 🍸 of vodka and soda with lime and my fur babies 😺 I'm burning a caramel butter toffee candle, I have many candles for ambiance. It's dusk and cold 🥶 and clear in Washington State. The sky was a stunning white today 😍 I'm wondering if we will get snow ❄️ this month?? I remember when I lived in New Jersey, we had a large two story colonial house 🏠 with black shutters. There was wallpaper in the kitchen, a mustard yellow pattern and in the dining room there were big flowers 💐 in the powder room there was a gold raised pattern. I have never had wallpaper in any of my houses 🏘 I'm a bit of a clutz, lol, I really can't see myself hanging it!! I must admit that I simply adore the flowers 💐 I love a dusty rose 🌹 kind of like an English country or a French provincial. It's so beautiful 😍 Once again it's the romantic coming out in me!! I have a burgundy accent wall in the living room and the same paint 🎨 around the bay window 🪟 in the kitchen. I've never thought about wallpaper though 🤔 I'm certain that my husband probably wouldn't like the stunning flowers that I would want, haha 😆 Once again you have curated a magnificent video 💖 I am thoroughly enjoying this!! My husband is working an extra shift so I won't see him until tomorrow morning. *sigh* a lonely night 🌙 but then he has two days off!! I'm all set, I've got a lovely cocktail 🍸 of vodka and soda with lime and my fur babies 😺 are with me. It's a cold 🥶 clear day in Washington State. I'm snuggled up with a blanket and thorough enjoying this video 📹 I am burning 🔥 a caramel pecan pie candle 🕯 for ambiance. I can't tell you how much I appreciate this. It's a feast for the eyes 👀 I love wood bedframes!! I'm torn between the rich thick velvet and the floofy fabric!! So very romantic 😍 I love them both!! The bedroom should be a haven. I remember when I lived in California many years ago when I was young and quite poor but my bedroom was special. I had a giant Japanese fan as a headboard and I hung glass and seashell wind chimes from the ceiling. I had a "satin" black and red bedspread haha 😄 It wasn't much but I enjoyed it. I also went through a "country" look with a brass bed and beautiful florals with lace linens and bed skirt. But I'll always love a canopy bed 🛌 so you can rather close yourself off from the world and escape and relax 😌 Thank you so much for another fantastic video!! Such a treat!!
