To the creator of this video, how did you unlock the other moves for the playable characters? For example, blitz attacks. I have both the game and the DLC, and am playing it on Windows using the keyboard in Legacy Controlls mode which means you pick up items by punching them, instead of holding down one of the arrows and pressing W over and over again. I've beaten the game twice with no cheats, once on Easy and once on Normal. On Normal I actually managed to get an S rank for stages 1, 3 and 4! Anyway, at the end of your playthrough you went through some of Mr. X Nightmare using Cherry Hunter. Can you explain how you managed to get the game to continue after beating the first wave of enemies?

@@comedianseenoevilgaming7382 I understand that part of it, what I don't understand is how to continue in Mr. X Nightmare itself after defeating the enemies. It makes a sound that indicates leveling up or something, the music changes and the area is completely blank. No objects, no enemies and nowhere to go to progress. I've also tried going all the way to the top of the place and holding down right arrow like you do to make the next group of enemies appear, no change. Also completely off topic but I figured maybe you'd want to know this: in Streets of Rage 4, you forgot to mention Arcade Mode as one of the menu options. The main menu layout is Story, Stage Select, Arcade Mode, Boss Rush then Mr. X Nightmare if the player has it. I used OCR with NVDA to figure this out, so I might be wrong. In terms of options, it's fully accessible. Go to the OneDrive folder, and in Documents you'll find a folder called Streets of Rage 4 Save and Config. In that folder is a file called Config.txt, open that to change the options. It's nothing hard, just numbers and on/off options. True means on, False means off.

yeah, this guy keeps telling people to just “follow the directions” and “hold the button” . thats not right, you have to go to “ kustomize” from the main menu, take getting lit off and add puppet party. if he just kept pouring gas, thats why.

All you did was spam the Blitz move. I mean that's LITERALLY all you did. I bet if you could press one button to Blitz, you wouldn't even use directional input but instead just press one button to attack and move.
