Never seen that type of food. Looks amazing and different. Few south indian restaurants in Birmingham now so will check them out.. obly dish i know is masala dosa or idli. Presentation in bananaleaf is interesting!

You should! They recommended I start with Pothi Choru, their traditional dish. It was my first time having food on a banana leaf, and it was a great experience.

Pothi choru means packed rice (in banana leaf) typically carried by farmers to the fields, students to the school, workers to their work place and travellers in olden days. Now it’s a nostalgia. It’s tastes good when rice is mixed with the dishes using the fingers and eat with hand.

People who turn out in masses on these days in Manchester Birmingham cause annoyance to the entire community, throw rubbish everywhere, cause traffic jams, noise , poor parking behaviours, begarti, blocking foot paths, illegal street vendors and overall negative impacts and publicity… the local council and police need to restrict these events
