handlines i used had a meat hook in the roller , yu could drive the hook into the pole or hook it on something, also had a hook in the handline to hook thing to send to the lineman ...

3:50 Says nothing bout THOSE CONDUCTORS BEING LIVE! This is where the video seems to take a much harder turn to "BAD CHOICES". What a STUPID way to educate ppl showing them working on exposed conductors with out ANY shielding between them. That part left out means a lot of ppl could be killed following this video.

Tell me please (I'm not from US), is it possible to use an outdoor wire with polyethylene insulation inside the wall? For example aerial cable to service panel directly without splices near service cap. What is the difference between a service drop cable and a service entrance cable for fire protection or another feautures?

Never leave a tail and bend it over. Cut it off and roll it flat; birds get their feet caught in the ends easily.

Didn't really explain how to wrap the dead ends into the neutral cable etc. Also just electrical tape on the connectors? I'm not an electrician but that doesn't seem sufficient. It will unwrap won't it?

5:58 some guys I talked to said wait 24 or more hours for the conductor to straighten before sagging. It was 556 though and that is way stiffer than what was shown in the video
