The bridge homeless recovery center is no good for any one to Stay the staff that works there do not care the guest the there they kick people out on street the the staff is unprofessional they don’t know deal with people that have mantal issues or people that are in recovery the place is ran like a prison they bar people for anything they feel is not right I think people be treated fair and not poorly

I'm on social security, my daughter doesn't have an income. We have been homeless almost a year. Have been staying with a family that the man is sexual harassing her. Need help.

I'm hoping that the hotel being built downtown with "taxpayers" money can somehow be used be the growing homeless here in Abilene as well. Especially during the winters where several local folks actually froze to death a few winters ago.

Mayor Williams, I applaud you for your efforts. For the last 5 years I have been living in Seattle where homelessness is rampant and despite all the wealth here the problems only get worse. There is no place like Texas and I am proud and happy to be moving to Tyler ,Texas next month. Keep up the good work , mayor Williams, this country needs more mayors like you.

I have been having a hard time reaching someone at the Metro Dallas Homeless Alliance (Coc) left messages and emailed them. 😔 haven't been able to speak to anyone. Me and my kids are in need of assistance.

The place is so unprofessional. Lies, lies, lies, all lies. Almost the entire center had covid. The shelter was empty. Even the fat black woman Ms. Brown does nothing. She needs to be fired.

Some have addictions and it's hard for them too let that thing go. So they can not stay at shelters. There are plenty of shelter's, food help but when you have an addiction there always mental health issues. High price of living with homes that are not even up too code. At lot of our homeless population are not even from here. They got a one way ticket from up North. Than we got illegals coming in. There are a lot of empty lots, land near by, houses that are empty for a very long time. No one wants too rent out cheap. Any where you work they want to pay minimum wage but the rent is way too high. These problem will never be solved.

If yall helped me I would have a roof over my head by now I kept calling mrs rachel/ or known as hannah with the home center of central Texas for San Marco's she hardly answers. So I whent out to south side to put in an application for housing but no hear back for months and still no hear back. I AM IN NEED OF HELP PLZ HELP plz?
