This format of game is known as "unreal tournament". Its a moba but on UT platform with UT combat... you can always simplify by saying "its gears of war with moba objectives" I played paragon which was (this vids games 'predecessor' get it) And the main difference is in this game... you gotta aim... yup... you can dodge auto attacks and abilities almost across the board.... even melee champion footsies and juking is an entire skill to learn... you have to aim melee attacks though to a lesser degree than ranged. While league has auto target auto attacks, and vertical view... meaning aim and depth perception isnt a factor. Pred demands the same macro and gameplay control as league but higher mechanical demand... you can genuinely be heard through walls even if you arent seen... leagues fog of war prevents this while paragon/pred lets you use your ears to gain information... i consider pred a harder game to get into but if you have the mechanical skill to aim and be aware in a 3d environment, its alot more rewarding to play solo than league.... league has so many flat rules... if youre not X than you cant do Y.... cause theres inevitable baselines.... pred has none if those even if youre losing and enemy ADC is 17-0... you can always dodge a few hits and kill the guy even as an 0-5 adc.... Or if the jungle ganked offlane a bunch you can still out space and out fence melee vs melee and kill your opponent. Even if jungle invades and kills you, you can always use your ears to hear him on his camp and steal back while theyre low and kill them. Preds 99% mechanical skill... the OUTPLAY... is 100% of what wins games... macro is good, but if you can mechanically play perfectly ... its gunna take a team diff to make you lose. Cause even if you have a sloppy jungle with no macro or game control... and the enemy junglers sharp you can always outplay a normally losing situation by just being sauced. The ability to dodge 99% of damage in the game (like 2 abilities are enemy lock on in the game) is such a big deal to allow "comebacks"... its so much better than league imo for solo play. Just higher mechanical demand. Riktor in paragon/pred takes 100x the skill a blitzcrank in league does despite being the same character basically in playstyle, simply because his pull is aimed in a 3d depth environment, on people moving left, right, up into the sky... and down falling... rather than just ground movement. Super fun game once you know its not league and is more gears of war with leagues macro.

Nah, that wasn't your fault. Couple of points though: starting tear is really, really greedy. Since they buffed Doran's items a while back they are 95% of the time the starting item for non jungle/supports. And ulting mid-fight as Ezreal is frequently going to hurt you more than the enemy. BTW, it is much more complicated that 'freezing is bad.' Sometimes you absolutely want the wave frozen just outside of tower range, but that is something you learn with experience. Don't freeze is a decent baseline starting out.

You warded grubs at 8:40ish. You put the ward inside the pit where it will ONLY show you if someone is fighting grubs and not coming to gank. Put it outside the pit and you will see ganks AND anyone fighting grubs.

A big part of playing something like brand top is using wave control to force them to come out. You kept going to lane and burning down the wave which lets him stay safe and farm easily. Brand wins because they can force them to not farm or set up ganks not just his raw power. I recommend watching some videos on lane management in top lane. Its a big help

I guess if "Explosive Charge" blows up because you shot that thing enough times it will reset. I guess it also resets if you get champ takedowns.

What motivated the aftershock? I'm only a few minutes in and it's evident another rune would've been better for laning. Electrocute, Harvest, Comet, even grasp would've worked more imo. Yeah I just saw that missed kill and you would've had that with another rune. I think if you went tanky fiddle you should've gone tp then the aftershock makes more sense if you're playing for mid/late game team fights Ngl thornmail lowkey ass, if youre gonna need some armor seekers into zhonyas makes more sense. The grevous wounds isnt worth the gold

I agree with blizzard cat 100%, i couldnt understand your intro at all, I recommend changing the audio settings in your recording software. If you are using OBS then go to the audio mixer and select your mic and open the audio filters. What I have seen is the best settings is adjust your gain to a reasonable level, then add a noise suppression, then after the noise suppression add a 3-band equalizer to adjust the high/mid/low of your voice to be more crisp and clear, then add an expander and set the ratio to 3:1, threshold to ~ -50, attack to 1ms, release to roughly 100ms and then adjust the output gain based on your own voice, then after that add a compressor with a ratio of 3:1 threshold of ~ -10, attack to 1ms, release to roughly 100ms, and adjust the output gain to your own voice (shouldn't need to be adjusted because of the others by this point), then add a limiter set pretty high to ~ -1 dB to prevent red lining your audio with a release of ~60ms. i hope this is helpful for you because id love to see you succeed but the audio capturing of your voice was pretty bad. ALSO, maybe don't name your vid "this build is unkillable" when you are being carried by your bot and mid lane -_- because your lane opponent was 14/3 at the end...
