When you are done reading your new book finds, pass them to your mom to read (as long as they are not too scary) LOL

I don't decorate for Halloween, but I do decorate for Fall, and it really just depends on when I'm feeling it. Sometimes I will start early and sometimes it's later and sometimes not at all. I hadn't really thought about it yet this year until seeing your video.

That's great! Fall is my favorite season, so even when Halloween is done I still keep up some fall items until Thanksgiving. I feel like each year I'm trying to celebrate the season earlier and earlier. I just need more!

Hi! I ended up uninstalling Palia from my Switch a few months ago. After I cleared my field it just wouldn't let me put down the workbench. After restarting countless times, I just gave up! Ugh! It's such a pretty game and looks like so much fun, so I will live vicariously through your playing! Thanks for uploading!

Thanks buddy! Yeah, I didn't meet my goal but it was somewhat close. One of the authors I'm friends with was telling me that establishing a base with these events is important and that you have to start somewhere. I think I have some fans from this and I'm sure if they saw me again they would test out my next book.

Last year I went to the Toronto pride parade and it was one of the funnest afternoons of my life! I'm in a small town this year and there aren't much options as far as pride goes. This isn't a friendly place... Not sure what I'll get up to.
@JonathanPongratz3 ай бұрын
Hi Victoria! Thanks for stopping by. I've heard Canadian pride parades are amazing, so that's definitely on my bucket list, on top of the festivals they do in the summer. I'm sorry to hear that you're in an area where pride may be stifled. Maybe do something with some local friends and have your own little pride celebration? Don't let them dampen your spirits!
@misty_michelle30344 ай бұрын
Yay for all the Pride activities. Unfortunately where I live there is nothing like that available so my only plan is to read LGBTQIA+ books. Obviously I am reading Heartsong by TJ Klune with you and I also have Pop Star by Eden Finley on my TBR. As of right now those are the only to I'm certain of but I hope to read more than that.
@JonathanPongratz4 ай бұрын
Oh dang! Well at least you're still able to celebrate in your own way. I've always tended to live near bigger cities and they always have something going on.

People bringing negativity to your streams is incredibly uncalled for. But also, how could they? You're such a wonderful soul. - Vee.
@JonathanPongratz5 ай бұрын
Aw, thank you friend! What's happening is usually general spamming, but sometimes it appears people are using the tags like gaymer to post homophobic comments on people's streams. I don't get why they waste their energy when I'm just going to ban them.

Texas Frightmare Weekend is the one I try to do every year. It's really popular, people come from all over the world to attend. The biggest draw for me is the celebrities. I've had the pleasure to meet Meg Foster, Dario Argento, Julian Sands, Tom Savini, Alex Winter, cast members of Killer Klowns, Nightmare on Elm Street, Halloween, Sleepaway Camp. It's a lot of fun, but very VERY expensive. I dropped 3 grand there last year. There's a new convention starting up here called The Halloween Preservation Society. Not as many celebrities, but I did get to meet Rachel True from The Craft there and she was super sweet.
@JonathanPongratz6 ай бұрын
Oh wow, I've never heard of that one! It sounds right up my alley. If I visit Texas in the near future I'll have to think of arranging the dates right so I can attend. OMG, 3 grand?! Holy cow, you must've saved up before you went then, right? This time I did good and spend just over $100. With the ticket it was about $175 in total.
@JoshJoshyJosh6 ай бұрын
@@JonathanPongratz We saved for a long time for that one. I wanted to go all out one year because the previous times I'd gone, I'd only had a couple hundred bucks to spend. There's soooooooo much to see and buy there, plus it's insanely popular, that it often takes the whole weekend to get to it all. This year, if we go, it'll be a much smaller and more budgeted experience. Warwick Davis is going to be there and some more indie names that I'm excited about. When Robert Englund was there, his line would start before the show even opened and get so long it was near impossible to meet him. It usually takes place in May.

The English language is beautiful in the fact that it sucks, let's face it. And since we have so much influence from our cousins across the Atlantic, pretty much any place name with a "...shire" at the end is subject to whatever the locals call it and/or what the historical reference was, which is infuriating. In the meantime, let's talk about words (and I will use five quick alphabetical examples) such as "apocalypse", "bravo", "calliope", "duplicitous", and "epoch". But there are thousands to hundreds of thousands of examples of pronunciation confusion in our lives. It is no wonder folks have just starting truncating everything to the basic 'sound bite' in written communication.
