Many reasons to use handgun over repeater handgun. 1)It’s actually a one shot bodyshot on ratling gunner and warpfire. One shot headshot on all other specials. 2) Use conservative shooter to get ammo back on headshot. There’s 400 specials killed in the whole game. You need ammo sustain. 3) Repeater handgun has awful ammo economy. With scrounger the ammo won’t last super long as it takes 3-4 shots to kill specials on Cataclysm 3. You’ll be out of ammo within the first two hordes. 4) Handgun has perfect accuracy with aiming down sights. Repeater does not. Meaning handgun is faster, safer, and more reliable at dealing with high priority targets than repeater is.

@@JCtheSpy All fair points, but realistically you aren't going to shoot every single time a special shows up, if someone can do it more efficiently. In this very vid he mostly tagged specials and didn't shoot them, but when he did shoot them a good portion of the time he didn't kill them in one go, and he's a very good player, a lot better than me. Yet if I had a repeater in those situations, I would've killed those specials, without realistically having ammo problems, from leaving most of them; like he did in the vid.

@@isaacfreeman98 you gotta remember as well this is Cata 3, repeater doesn't hit a lot of the breakpoints that it does on Cata 1. Honestly I don't even know what the repeater's breakpoints are on Cata 3, but I have a feeling they are quite bad and you'd just be burning through ammo

And yes I agree he won’t shoot every single special, but there are enough times to where that ammo sustain matters. Handgun can instantly delete a special and you get back to frontlining. Repeater just takes too much time and you can have over a dozen elites on you so it’s very unsafe.

Just work on your defense first. Focus on surviving and not getting greedy hits in. Test more and more to see what you can get away with until you find the "punishment line" so to speak.

Dodge dancing. My experience jumping difficulties was shifting my gameplay from 'cowering behind block and sneaking in attacks during safe windows' to 'controlling the horde with stagger and dodging around its perimeter while constantly attacking'.

On the full charge 100% but you get hit while charging in bad situations a lot so have to use it intelligently. Balance damage taken and DPS output

With crowd clearer I am pushing a lot anyways which is good for stagger temp. On horde, I will push without the push attack(overhead chop) and then do the cleave attacks. The pushes into horde plus the cleaves gives great temp hp.

Swift slaying and crowd clearer, it's not even the most attack speed he could have gotten with lvl 30 talent "bull of ostland"

@@montty6286 Yo I just looked through my own stuff and all rewards from quests or challenges and can't find em. I think they could be the unique rewards given by Fatshark in the Onslaught competitions. So not gonna get em easy if that is the case :) Have a good one
