Ive been in a lot of trouble But i have learned from it all My message to you never make the mistake twice I started smoking i was just a little kid (Just a little kid) I started smoking i was just a little kid And i knew that it was wrong So it was something that i hid And i mean granted I was smoking on some mid But shit i was young and i was smoking on that weed I mean smoking on that choking on that Toking on that green Before i even knew it was part of my routine It was started as a want then it turned into a need Thats how it starts i dont think you understand I was only smoking weed then i started taking xans Before i even knew it was out of fucking hands That person that i was is not the person that i am That shit that is was doing that shit gets you time I am talking about the felonies not petty little crimes I am may tell you what i did and i was out of fucking line And i mean i was out my fucking mind There was a party at a crib and i was off a couple bars I was looking at a cookie and i took it from the jar Little that i knew that i took it too far I walked up out the house And i hopped up in the car I took a diamond ring and realized what ive done I knew i had to fix it cause i knew i couldnt run I took it to the cops and told them i was the one They put me in a room and then the questioning begun I told them everything cause lying makes it worse I talked to the detective and we started to converse She told me never does the culprit coming first But i am wrong for what i did And all the people that i hurt She was careful with the words and There was something she explained They could see that there was good in me And knew that i could change Giving me my freedom but something in exchange I would have to go to rehab so i had it all arranged And thats the truth its not something i imagined If i chose to keep that ring Then i dont know what would have happened If i didnt go away i would probably still be trapping But i am grateful up to god Cause they chose to show compassion
