Tried and didnt like it. In first hour of use saw that software provided with shaker seats it is much more better for use than this. Maybe it is good for diy things and bass shakers but for seats like H8 from NLR or Jetpad it is better to stick with their softwares.

@@Avenger31 You are correct, SimHaptic was built for bass shakers and not vibrator engines like the HF8, yet, good news is that we are nowadays forming up a partnership with HF8 company to allow better compatibility with SimHaptic and HF8.

@@wargvater Hey! There are two reasons why we don't support HF8 natively by now: We tried to get in touch with their company with no success. If their company will reach us back and want to work together, we would consider that eventually.

@@wargvaterTBH currently any type of bass shaker (HF8 is not considers as bass shaker), so we can recommend Buttkicker, U-Shake6, or any custom brands like Dayton. If you want a plug n play, go with either Buttkicker or U-Shake6.

Hi, I am using this in my DCS F16 Setup and it works great. For some reasons the afterburner sound is not working although I have not disabled it in the menu. Any ideas? Thanks a lot 👍

I want to like this, but the fact that the windows can’t be saved in position and every time I take my headset on or off things move, is a bummer. The windows are smaller than I need, too. Can you make fixed size / shaped templates for certain planes? I’ll check back in. Maybe those items can be worked out.

I'm currently using the 7 days trial version of the software for DCS with a Buttkicker Pro amplifier connected to my PC's motherboard via a Y-splitter. I don't have a dedicated or external sound card, even though I noticed one is listed as a requirement. However, everything seems to work fine in the simulation when I select the Buttkicker Pro as the audio output in your software. Am I missing something?

If everything works then perfect :) the only problem with using a Y splitter, is that if the other side of the Y splitter is connect to your speakers, you may hear low frequency artifacts.

@@rkApps-shop Ok, I believe the reason I'm not experiencing any issues is that the speakers connected to the other side of the Y-splitter are my main PC speakers, which I don't use during sim sessions since I rely on the VR headset speakers instead. Makes sense?

Installed for Steam, but no menus are showing under MSFS.

Seems it's not always the default directory for Steam. My packages was pointed to D:\Games\MFS\Packages\Community.

I have installed SimXR but cannot Activate. I think I have actually purchased it twice, in error. When I click on activate in either VR or monitor mode the Activate / Trial button, it becomes very large and will not provide a space to enter email address and activation key. Any ideas what I could be doing wrong. Thanks Kevin

I'm using simxr and it works great but I'm having issues with the pop out panels of the instrument panel. Once I go into VR the pop out panel freezes. I've tried this with both my pimax crystal and quest 3. I have realsimgear instruments(g1000's, 530,750,650). It dosn't mater where I have my pop out panel it freezes when I start VR. Its been awhile since I've tried pop out panels in vr but they always worked before. I'm not sure if its in msfs, video card driver, virtual desktop streamer or something else. I was so excited that I finally had passthrough for my realsimgear equipment but the screen freezes in VR. Any ideas how to fix it?

The audio recording in the clip is weird. For the assumendly higher bass levels on the tarmac take off roll noise and the afterburner noise, it sounds like the bass frequencies are clipping. So it sounds like totally a$$ as a result. Not sure if thats the AV recording software or the actual mod but it is odd and very jarring.

How have you made the sounds? For example the afterburner sound for the Hornet at 1:53. Has it been recorded from an actual F/A-18C? Or have you used sounds from the real world aircraft as guide and tried to get as close to the actual sound as possible. Or have you just added a sound that you think sounds good?

what im wondering aswell, I feel like of all the footage ive watched of IRL it really isnt this dramatic, espedcially with closing the canopy or loud wind noises when your only rolling. Maybe they'll reply to your comment to clarify though.

Hey Captains, Great topic! When you watch cockpit videos online, they often use post-stabilization to reduce shakiness, making the video look smooth. In real life, though, when an aircraft is under pressure, such as during a maneuver, the airframe can vibrate due to aerodynamic forces. While it may not shake as much as shown in the video, the pilot's body does move more than you might think. Remember, this is a demonstration and a game, so you can't feel G-forces in your room. The effects are designed to add a layer to simulate this and enhance your experience. They're set on the stronger side by default, but you can adjust them to your preference. Regarding the sounds, many were recorded in a studio to replicate real aircraft sounds. We didn’t sit next to an F18 afterburner, but we believe the sounds effectively do their job. We are aware that some sounds need improvement and are working on it.

Well done! I've always thought the effects in DCS were way too 'sterile' especially the ground-handling and landing aspects. This might make me actually want to play DCS properly now 😅
