I was looking for this entrance on YT. Haven't been here in a few years. Gorman mostly. Thanks!

You need to down shift more, it sounds like it's bogging down a bit
@alexandermoon88836 жыл бұрын
That bike has so much torque you need to ride it a gear higher so you don't spin the back tire and lose traction or raise the front end. It chug all day in a higher gear or downshift and pop wheelies, haha.

Love that single track!! Is this an OHV only trail? Or multi use for hiker, mountain bikers and the like.. Amazed to see you were the only one on it
@alexandermoon88836 жыл бұрын
It's a motorcycle only trail. I'm sure you could hike it and mountain bike too. Rowher Flats is generally less crowded than most riding areas. Sometimes I can ride all day and not see another person on the trails.

which trail is this? is it one of the trails near the north entrance?
@moondogger18 жыл бұрын
It's called Gorman Trail. It has 2 entrances. You can enter about a half mile in from the North entrance or, like I did in this video, you can enter from Powerline Road.

moondogger1 Awesome video man! I'm kinda new to riding, I know go pro makes things look easier than it is. is this trail as flowy and smooth as it looks? Could a beginner do it?
@moondogger17 жыл бұрын
Hey man, the beginning of the trail is pretty easy and a beginner could definitely handle it. At around 3:15 the trail starts to get a bit more gnarly with tighter single track and eventually you get into a pretty steep decline. Hungry Valley has all types of trails for different experience levels. You'll definitely find something there that you'll like.
@alexandermoon88839 жыл бұрын
Hungry Valley has maps available when you enter. Make sure you ask the Ranger when you pay the entrance fee. All the trails eventually lead back to the main road, so you don't really have to worry about getting lost.

im thinking about going to this place to ride atvs. usually we go to ride at the oceano dunes but we want to find a place different so we can take off the sand tires. the only problem i think i would have is finding my way back to camp... any recommendations?
