this has more prominent traction control sounds and generally the audio recordings used are different. kunos one is good too

Im gonna be an absolute nerd for a bit. That sounds like the MP4 15, which along with the MP4 16 are the ONLY McLaren cars that sounded like that, because of their exhaust configuration. Both previous and later McLarens sounded less distinct

They would replace the original but you can always back up the original and put them back in. Requires you to juggle the files round

The V6 can never sound like this no matter how hard you try due to the firing order. It can only sound like this even at 12k rpm if it's an inline type engine or some other engine layout that's not a 90 degree V6.

I've noticed that, for whatever reason, AMS2 always has pronouncedly less trans/diff noise than other sims. This is especially noticable on closed top cars (compared to their actual onboards). I believe it was much the same in Project Cars 1&2. Is this a peculiarity of the Madness engine?

hi! it's definitely not a madness engine related thing. it's a result of being cautious when it comes to overbearing noises taking into account that not everyone has good speakers or headphones and that the vast majority of audio devices portray gear whine quite harshly even if our high end gear portrays it as good and bearable

Thats how the onboards sound from f1 tv. I just took it directly and made no changes. You can hear a deep sound from the left ear too but you need good headphones with good bass reproduction
