this is just straight up hilarious and so weirdly fitting

their designs are such a far cry from their canon looks that these look like different characters almost. that's the ONE thing that makes them hurt a bit less imo, cuz they're so detached from reality (for multiple reasons), especially since they look more... "human". they still absolutely suck tho, and while i hate that digital circus so quickly met this fate, i'm also thankful it took r34's attention off of murder drones. this show does not deserve it at all

Honestly it fits

honestly from episode 3 on I feel like the show just kinda "lost it's way?" like I'm absolutely chill with all of eldritch horror and absolute solver and stuff, that should in fact exist in this story. but I feel like the show should have had a much lower scale season 1, focusing on pretty much only the murder drones vs. the normal drones. episode 1, 2, 3, should remain primarily the same with the only key difference I believe being at the end of episode 3 it should have been revealed that instead of "Tessa" showing up, that the Centipede Absolute Solver monster actually succeeded in rebuilding J... she's still heavily damaged both physically and mentally true, but it did rebuild her. then episode four has her taking the place of Uzi as the deranged monster eating people at camp. with the story building from there. have the other ships land, introduce some more MD's give me more designations! give the characters actual arcs! build up to Uzi going feral. have Doll be present as a legit threat. make N the villain of an episode. give Khan an episode. make J an actual character beyond corporate lapdog! and then at the end of season 1 either have Doll or Uzi have their freak out feral monster moment (preferably Uzi, so you can have a real N vs. Uzi type thing) and at the end of the first season show "Tessa" showing up on the planet like she did at the end of Episode 3. that being said this went on waaaaay longer then I intended it to and turned into a bit more of a rant then I intended. so sorry about that. anyways, I love the ideas of Murder Drones but don't particularly enjoy how the story is being done.

What kind of development where you looking for? The story started focusing a lot on Uzi's life, interactions with the disassembly drones, and the bunker, where Doll could easily be the main antagonist. It then moved on to the Solver being the main ant, with the others being background ones. (like Alice) To me, it seems like Doll is a tragedy. He parents were murdered, she goes for revenge, a fellow solver drone stops her. She decides that it is more important to move on to stopping the ABSolver, and is killed with little effort by a superior foe. I did not get overly attached to any characters, and I read fanfiction, so I am content.

Let's just hope you don't pissed people off 😬
