@gElber93 Fenian is not used to insult someone with respect to their race. Calling someone a fenian with its original meaning in mind is not racist OR offensive, even if it does have 'Irish' in it. That is why some Celtic fans are happy to adopt the word and apply it to themselves. When applied as an insult, it refers to the persons religion, making it it sectarian. It's the same case with hun. I'm starting to wonder if you understand the concept of sectarianism OR racism.

If other people refer to Rangers fans in that way as a sectarian term, it makes no sense, as the word has no sectarian connotations( as far as Protestant people are concerned). And if Fenian means Irish warrior, of course calling people Fenians is offensive, because insulting someone using their race
