Nice to see the silhouette of the plane as it took off. My family knew one of the presidents of Air Canada back in the 1970's and I have always loved the airline but I wished they hadn't merged with the airline that was once CPAir. I loved the orange planes and they were a worthy competitor. Also, if C PAir was still around, imagine how beautiful the Triple 7 would have looked in those orange and beige colors. Every so often, I try to imagine what the 757 and Triple 7 would look like in the colors of defunct airlines if they were still around. Could you imagine a green Boeing 757 flying for the old Braniff? A National Airlines 'Sun King' 757 ? A Pan Am Triple 7? Makes me sad that these companies are no longer around.😞

Have never had a smooth flight into or our of PSP. Many are downright scary!! The last two into PSP resulted in multiple pilot attempts, and the possibility of being diverted to ONT and bused home. Grrrrr

This video reminds me of how much I miss it there. We recently moved to Washington State but lived in Palm Desert prior and we are very familiar with that plane route, coming over 29 Palms, Joshua Tree NP, Indio, La Quinta Indian Wells, Palm Desert, Rancho Mirage, Cathedral City then into PS airport❤
