4:45 The light is described as He aka Helium which is the imaginary chemical name for light since it is light and since it, as light, also lights the way for the other reflections and refract ~Δ ions of light which in the end are collections of collected halves of half of He or T~he aka one electron representing half of every atomic idea that Hydrogen presents itself as when W+hole containing one proton and one electron while He only operates himself as a pair of protons and a pair of electrons leading to the idea that two heads and other pairs of things are often found to be more than twice as useful as one... And as presented here which is only de~scribe-Δ+able as Wonderful... As with all of your work here the inflection is the point at which the words actually jump off the screen screaming as they drag their roots out of the aether into your mind through the eyes and ears where the ocean of e~mot~ion located in front of your eyes and wired into the sea of tranquility that resides in the heart of the holy of whole eyes the hole in your whole head where all light comes to get her as thought...translated to and from waves of pulsating charges controlling the venous system of W+holes holding you together as her or him aka us or them~.~.~ as one well and often re~k-now-an~Δ then wanderer once said...~here for those with the eyes to see and the ears to hear to come home to the one as one in E~le~trick~y one Ness providing the light and the light ness needed in ~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~: t~he ocean of motion of the ocean of aether making you this and all the rest of that IT with W or Δ Amen

Great story, Shirley Jackson is a favorite. Ive always pictured her like a Twilight zone Barbara Billingsly. Such an amazing imagination. So vibrant and alive. Basically when i was little i remember asking my mom when color was invented. Old shows and pictures i thought were just like that. Shirley Jackson dreaming up all of this and more in a black and white world.

Well done. I think she would approve. Evocative, understates the writing of Emily D. I uncover new and deeper meanings with works like this as I pass through phases of my life. This one especially so.

...well I've wrote this recently and it fits like a glove on this passage you've read from the book of Disquiet...

One of the best passages from this book. Together with the color of your voice, a perfect dress becomes available in your nearby mysticism shop.

This short piece, like most of Borges' best work, is almost outrageously Profound. The older I get the more I appreciate the Beauty and significance of his work. I find inspiration and consolation in Borges. I know I shall read him always. Thanks for posting! 🙏📒

One of my favourite books. I only learned lately that Defoe based his Robinson Crusoe on an early English translation. My version is called The Journey of the Soul, The Story of Hai Bin Yaqzan, translated by Dr Riad Kocache Many thanks!

Here we are what we are, until we change, and, changing, we become what we were not before we stopped to look out from ourselves through the air of our lives, far beyond what our parents knew when they knew each other and fell, laying themselves beside each other, like old childhood friends who wondered what the other was doing just then, so long ago, so very long ago.
