Hi Mathew you made me very happy this morning please let me know when you are filming next and also why they never put those solar panels further down the hill same sun same angle I have stopped going up there now happy filming

good morning always enjoy looking at different airports and just found you excellent show we used to enjoy sitting up there until they put solar panels right in the way where everybody sits why they didn't move them down a bit such a shame I gather you are in the same area but I think you must be on top of a vehicle ? keep up the good work best wishes

Yes, this is the same area, but to have any chance of a good view you need to be in the first three spaces by the barrier. I also use a step stool to film above the fence

It is a special ticketed event held by the Bristol Airport Spotting Facebook group. These events are typically held monthly and there's no access to this location otherwise

Unfortunately the camera couldn't pick up the sounds of the planes, as this was filmed from a hotel through two sets of glass. Therefore I muted the whole video to get rid of other background noise, as you couldn't hear the planes anyway

Hiya Matthew just a question on Wednesday we going to the spotters evening event do you know if we are allowed to start filming early before it begins at 5:30 if there was flights coming in or going off before 5:30 would thery let you start to record early and when the event finishes at 7:30 are we welcome to stay a little bit longer?

I think a Tui 787 is coming back from Bridgetown on the 18th jan and one is leaving for Montego Bay on the 20th of feb. That one is coming back on the 5th of March then poof for the Tui 787 😢. Anyway nice vid!
