Thank you for showing how bright the light gets! No other reviewer (at least the ones I have come across) do this. Seems like the light isn't that bright but it's good enough for basic stuff. BTW, I don't know what this brand is supposed to be but I think the original brand is supposed to be Onsmo. Probably a lot of OEMs out there with questionable build quality.

All right! I have managed to do everything in the video by now, except for one thing, and that is pivoting the phone clamp itself so that I can film in portrait mode instead of landscape...! She rotated her phone so easily in the video (2:02). My device _seems_ to be identical, but when it comes to turning my phone 90 degrees, I'm stumped! It won't budge!

I can’t seem to get the remote to connect to my phone. Any tips? I’ve charged the remote itself but when I hold the camera button for 2 seconds, I don’t see the blue light the instructions are talking about.

You have to connect the device to the bluetooth on your phone first. For my android I had to go to settings then connected devices and then bluetooth when the device comes up on the phone enable it.

Has anybody else notice the camera built into the light itself??? Why can’t I access it? It slightly creepy that the directions don’t tell you how to work it😅

@evelynralph9982 That is not a camera, that is the receiver for the remote control so that you can change light options and take photos using the remote control.

Mine was hard to open. I gave it a sharp rap with the heel of my hand and it popped right out. Also the head gets floppy after some use so the screw (hidden behind a rubber plug) needs tightening.

The stand works, but if it has full height the stand foot is visible in the video :-( That really sucks. I wanted to use it for overhead shooting. Doesn't seem to be possible to turn the foot the other way.

You can just fold and bend the telescopic next step (make sure it’s fully stretched until you can see some screw ) so that the foot won’t be visible

@@grayssportsalmanac85Go into your phone's settings then connected devices then bluetooth and when the device name comes up enable it. That is what I had to do with my Android phone. It might be different on an iPhone.

@@_chetom yes, I added my ankle weights to help support it but it is worth in in the sense that it all folds into itself, very compact for storage so, just depending on how you feel. I have an iphone 13 so maybe it is heavier than others? Not sure

did i receive a broken one? it won't open. i tried to slide it open but it won't. or is there a technique to opening it.

Once you slide it, you have to pull it up. If you view the video, it should be there.

@@raverater9296 amazon sent me another one because i thought i received a faulty one... but the new one is exactly the same so i'm returning both & will be looking for something more sturdy that'll keep my phone from falling off while facing down to record my illustrations.

You need to press and hold one of the buttons on the remote.
