A decade after the game came out and it's still fantastic. (But I keep getting beaten! I'm not good, even though I love the game!) I look forward to trying out your strategies the next time I play!

I honestly find blob wheel quite useful if purchased early in the game. Given that’s it’s early, it’s unlikely it’ll be destroyed, therefore, what I like to do is set out the blob wheel, then when a powerful expensive card is placed in the trade row, I’m able to purchase those cards much earlier in the game than normal. Also, since there are few blob bases available, blob wheel works great for triggering the blob fighter’s draw ability earlier in the game.

As annoying as Authority tracker cards can be, I find that using dice is much too risky. A stiff breeze can knock dice around the table and you've lost your record. Instead, I'd recommend using poker chips

After watching your video, just now, I went on the app and won 6 straight in the area challenge, using your faction pairings. Great advice and nice vid.

I think you have idealistic tactics that will never happen. The game is too randomized for you to create a combo. The game is more about keeping track of your and your opponents decks. Explorers and when to scrap them is the key to accelerate in trade and damage

Odd tip: I've found that red machine cult ships that scrap ships from your hand are the strongest cards in the early game, so long as you can buy cards that give you two or more trade on one card. You can dwindle your Deck down to nothing but powerful cards, lots of buying power, and even outposts. I won a three player game with a seven card deck.

This is getting complicated for me as I think I was an average medium player, stuck in lvl6 in online Game. I'm relearning the bases and, right now, I can't beat medium IA when I did the hard Mode before. What is happening to me??? XD

Strongly disagree on the draw-disadvantage of the Machine Cult. They don't have draw, addmittedly, but they don't NEED draw either. After (serious) scrapping, each of the five cards in your regular draw are killers, even tuned more finely late-game over Brain World.
