The words of this song frighten me. This is a heavy song. Rainbow reference notwithstanding. One of those "light-hearted melody vs. huge scary issues" kinds of songs. I hope Sierra Ferrell, maybe in 1/2 a year from now, or 3 years, whatever, can revisit her originals from the old days, the ones that don't work in baseball stadiums - revisit those tunes in medium or small clubs. OTOH! she's so courageous/cool she can open a pretty darn big show with a quiet melody like 'Making My Way"

This is exactly how I discovered this song too! Wonderful! I had a complete different picture in my head (black and white movie scene 1950 or so...) when I heard this at that Star Trek scene (watching in German language) but I needed to know who sings this song! 🙂

Love the setup! Have you done anything to the rear suspension, or does it ride good as is? I use air bags for my truck camper, it's affordable and convenient for when I don't have the camper on to just reduce pressure. Great video! 👍

Thanks! I haven't made any mechanical modifications to the truck.. but when I first bought it I looked up the specs (RamVan 3500), and it claimed to have a 4,000lb payload, and that's before I cut the body, and rear doors I'm guessing added ~500lbs in payload. It seems to handle the weight pretty well. Good idea on the airbags - I haven't looked into them.. do you have a video or product links for what you used?

Badass. Does it sway or swerve down the road with the weight on it? Might do better with dual rear tires? Would be cool to have a pass through door from back of van cab in to the dwelling pod! Also would be cool to have some side boards and tailgate to use on the van bed when not hauling dwelling. That way it can double as a pick up truck too. Love the van space behind the driver and passenger seat. Maybe put some bedding or seats back there for more occupancy or guest house sleeping. I bet the cops pull you over driving this around. Nosy miserable coppers. Jealous. Thinking it’s a dirty hippy with some pot plants in the back and a bevy of puntang.

Thank you! It's a little top heavy but I drive it gentle and it does just fine... I've put several thousand miles on it in this configuration, including interstate so far no major issues. Yeah duallys would provide more stability, but add cost and width.. I'm all for them, just don't have them, ha. Pass through is a fantastic idea, which I would love to incorporate. The space in the back of the truck has been super useful to me, and yeah It gives lots of options.. I use it like a garage for now, but could definitely be set up for more passengers or sleeper bay. I haven't had any issues with cops so far - and to be fair, it's just a flatbed truck hauling a shed

Someone thought it would be funny to tell Sierra Ferrell there was a swimming pool behind the venue - and musicians at Sidetracks customarily have a nice party and swim there right after their encore. But there's no pool😞
