Perplexity is just an OpenAI wrapper. Same LLM. Might as well use ChatGPT.

I've tried the pro version of Chat GPT, Claude and Perplexity, Perplexity is the winner followed by Claude. Perplexity gives the possibility to make files (Spaces), this is very helpful to easily categorize your searches. I know that you can make projects with Claude but it's not as convenient as using Perplexity. And Perplexity gives you its sources which is very important to me. What can I say about Chat GPT, I'm very disappointed, it was very promising but the results are not there. Too many approximations, too many hallucinations, to me it's not reliable.

how does Perplexity Pro compare to ChatGPT 4o or the Preview model?

It hard to tell without specifying an area you're looking for. I did cover a bit how these 2 compare, you can check here kzbin.info/www/bejne/hpPHgZ1nodqVh5I

Is perplexity better than Google Gemini for these tasks?
@graceleungylКүн бұрын
Since these tasks you need to access updated information from open web, Gemini may have limitations in achieving up-to-date results. At least for now, Perplexity is still better from my experience. Though I must say, long term Gemini still has a big advantage when it comes to search as Google still "owns" lots of search data.

Outstanding video, Grace! I'm impressed by your thorough and precise content. I agree with you 100%! I subscribe the premium version of all the models you describe including Perplexity Pro. I mainly work with my GPTs throughout the day and use Claude and Claude projects depending on what I am working on. I added Gemini to my Google workspace account, and although I like it, it's my least favorite exactly for the reasons you describe. I also have a Microsoft 365 enterprise account, and I don't feel the need for Copilot. Now, I am building a chatbot with multiple agents running on persona prompts, and each agent connected to a different model via the APIs. All managed by an AI supervisor that delegates based on user intent. I will compare the costs and may cancel my subscriptions and just stick to the APIs. And, i quit Googling, I just use Perplexity because I like answers. 😁 Excellent work, Grace!

Thank you for your kind words and sharing your experience. So glad to hear that we shared very similar experience😆, and same here Claude projects are so useful and the Claude model is very humanized too. Though I got to test out more with the new Perplexity Spaces features and how they compare. I love how you're building a robust system of AI agents with APIs, that's definitely the direction. Thanks sharing that, it's helpful to other people as well!

What is the purpose of keyword research? Is it all about coming up with keywords to add to your website?
@graceleungylКүн бұрын
Of course not... keyword research is still needed to improve context for (AI) search engines, and we need to understand how different keywords are related with each other. AI shines in making some of processes more efficient.

Difference vs using Perplexity w/ Claude model vs using Claude? Share your thoughts please
@graceleungyl3 күн бұрын
Generally speaking, their response is different even for the same prompt. Claude's response is still more thoughtful and attention to details, but it can also more restrictive (e.g. length limit, file upload). You can check more on this video kzbin.info/www/bejne/q6i2fYmsfqipgqM

Thanks Grace. You showed up in my feed and motivated to me to move an activity I am about to start to NotebookLM. I've used both Perplexity Pro and Gemini Advanced for almost a year, and was quite keen to understand the new angle. However, there is a lot in here and, about 8:00 in, I lost the thread. Even more so when you came back to PP at the end. A summary map might be helpful
