Christianity is still a form of witchcraft in fact ALL religions use magick. They only differ from each other according to what they want to gain from it and how they're going about it. Other than that it's literally all the same thing.

If your open to it read the gnostic gospel in particular the jung codex. If you know how to read it, it will open your mind. I'm pagan but go to a unitarian church and I've been able to practice Christian witchcraft now aswell as my celtic druidry path.

Never once seen a verse encouraging the crusades and witch burning, probably due to that being over a thousand years after Christ.

To me is means having an active and productive relationship with God to feel and be more like him in order to be the best being I can be. When I'm living at one with God I feel great, I have purpose, I feel taken care of and like nothing can or will himder me. Very much a feeling like being a little boy with a father who makes me feel safe and secure and completely free of anxiety. When I am not at one with God I feel lost, like everyone is out to get me, alone, scared, like I have a father who has abandoned me but I am just a little boy who is unable to fend for himself. I do however have the awareness that I am 38 and not a little boy anymore and although I have this feeling of security from a higher being, I recognize that it is my conscience effort that has gotten me to this better place this feeling more like a man, a father or God, myself, especially when I can then take care of someone else because I have already taken care of myself. The whole purpose to me is to spread positivity and that can only start from deep within. To be at one with God is to be at peace in the truest and deepest sense of the word
