I didnt think it would be this detailed. I figured more of an arcade style with some real elements. This is awesome. Edit: i see all of the vets and still wonder why us c2 got not love from arma lol.

I know when I was getting taught mortors in arma 3 it was always said to add a bit of wiggle between shots so you get a little bit of spread so if your off not all your shots will defo be off.

Why does it sound you're using a voice changer? Some of your sentences in your speech mix together making it hard to understand you. Try enunciating more, if you're not using a voice changer than God have mercy on your nasally sounding voice. You sound like Kermit the frog if he had a cold.

I like the way that each round is affected differently by wind speed etc., so they don’t just all land in the exact same spot. I hope that when they finally implement mortars they are restricted on numbers per team and who can place them, otherwise the map could be completely decimated by noobies with no idea what they are doing. I’m also hoping that the mortar rounds will also require supplies nearby (maybe its own supply storage space?).

They are bringing this game to the top like its something incredible.its way to hardcore for 95 of the fps shooters its more reading then playing a game. In overal i will prefer squad gameplay then this.

Been a mortarman in the army for 12 years, plotting points on your map and getting distance and direction with your protractor is spot on! Would love to see a plotting board in game. Looks like a ton of fun.

Nice work bracketing as a former FO pretty close to textbook adjustments. Also shows why the mortar/arty has a FO, gun team and FDC.

This probably sounds stupid, but I think that it’s a little *too* accurate. Like you have to be absolutely pinpoint precise to do any damage to an entrenched enemy. If they maybe give it like a 10-20 meter margin of error, it would be more effective

You can also command AI with the map fyi.. so if someone gives you a grid you can have the AI bombard that point.

Example Transmission You: "Bravo 2, this is Alpha 1. I am pinned down, outnumbered, and unable to hold position. Request immediate backup at grid reference Tango-Delta-456789, over." Response: "Alpha 1, Bravo 2. Copy your situation, reinforcements en route, ETA 5 minutes, over."
