I played this in the early 2000's in high school symphonic band as part of a side-by-side performance with YSU musicians, conducted by the late Dr. Gage. Listening to this performance gave me chills - Excellent performance! 👏🏼

Not really, some sections are led by the low brass and the conductor has to follow the tempo the low brass sets. But as tempo goes, it is perfect actually.
