Many thanks for your kind appreciation for my video. The main shopping area could be about 30 minutes by shuttle. My brother lives in Rome. His family took us around. But the hotel provides free shuttle service every hour to take people to Vatican and other places. We were able to see St Peter's Basilica from our hotel room. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Roma Cavalieri.

Doctor Harold, you have done a wonderful job of highlighting the aftermath of a war-torn land. I wish I was there with you, as I am familiar with this fertile area, it's hard working people and language. It was so unfortunate that their down fall was, bad politics on both sides of the divide and cunning interference by foreign powers, in the guise of big brotherliness.

The Basilica of St Peter's Dome was not constructed until a century after Brunelleschi's in Florence-its diameter is slightly smaller- but taller...Michaelangelo developed upon Brunelleschi's double-dome idea

People are actually not to place markings on the tomb but knock 3 times, ask for your blessing and leave an offering. The money offering that are left I believe are taken to repaint the tomb ever so often.

Thanks for posting. I remember when he arrived. I didn't know what to expect - I have a problem with accents. My old brain adapted to his slight accent immediately! As he "lived" with us, it was obvious that his comfort with us grew. My wife and I enjoyed him and his sense of humor. Great priest at confession also - not a quick in and out but a comfortable dialig.
