Fun video and great job with the Kiowa. A tip you might want to put on your HOTAS is turn right, turn left in Autopilot. I have done this on my Virpil throttle with two rotary switches that allow for very fine turns. This allows me to get the Kiowa lined up for the rockets since you only have a 10 degree right or left from middle. Just a thought since it was something that has helped me. You can also map the AI to follow the terrain so he won’t slam you into a building or hill. Anyway really enjoyed your video. If you ever want to fly this in multiplayer giver me a shout!!

You’re hovering way too high. Altitude is the other enemy. Where are your fundamentals of reconnaissance? Always use other peoples ammo first.

If you want to shoot further with the apkws you can shoot and wait 5-8 seconds before switching on the laser. You can have a apkws kill at 8km

fyi the KW has a goggle "HUD". If you look for and map controls for "ODA / Optical Display Assembly" it will pull up a HUD like feature when using NVGs.

It all depends on the altitude and speed. From a hover at like 10 feet its max 4km with loft but from a high altitude and while moving it’s much higher. Remember to turn your laser on like 2 seconds after firing if you loft.

AKSHUALLY dayz uses a modified version of arma 3 engine.

@@ing.hemoroid9938 Wrong. DayZ uses both Arms 3 engine and the enfusion engine. The physics system is the arma 3 engine hence why it's so janky. Driving, picking up items, interacting with objects and shooting is the enfusion engine. Arma Reforger is the first BI game which entirely runs on the enfusion engine.

@@unsensitiv4879 Definitely not. Enfusion originated from DayZ. It is Enfusion all around, just older or mixed or differently built, but that doesn't mean it's rv4 engine, like wtf. It's like saying a Abrams tank is a half tank half jet, Abrams is not a plane bro.

Sadly the MP scene is kinda barren. There are multiple servers online, but i was only able to catch a handful of people playing. Its a shame, i really feel like CLOD and Tobruk are the best WW2 flight sims out there.

@@mrshaggiest True, this game is really nice. Have you ever tried IL2 Sturmovick/DCS? Both are really good too, I'm into DCS lately, trying to build a P51 cockpit, and I have a few friends playing only warbirds with me (but I have to admit IL2 have more friendly missions, like when you just want to play without a ton of commitment and time)

Yeah! The DCS P 51 is awesome. I am starting to make content in DCS aswell. Its really nice having both worlds. When i want to have some quick fun with warbirds i always jump into IL2. I feel like CLOD and Tobruk stays in the middle of them, thats why i think its so special.

I’ve not played this game in maybe 10 years on the old IL2 platform. I wasn’t brilliant but I would set my gun conversion at 250 meters and hold my fire until I was much closer. I’d always try and attack with an energy advantage if at all possible and I’d try not waste it by being dragged into a turn and burn fight. That being said this new platform looks outstanding. I enjoyed flying the German fighters and using Boom and Zoom tactics, I particularly enjoyed using a Perch method from which to attack and as I said kept out of turn and burn fights as the German aircraft seems under modelled compared to the allied aircraft. Fun times 👍
