I have a question... are you concerned about UV protection with your mugs? I am going to try Kamar varnish with Krylon Crystal UV protector and skip the Brite tone. What are your thoughts? or anyones thoughts who has experience.

Thank you. I couldn't remember how to use regular alcohol inks with brite tone. It's almost become cult like and no one can share other ideas on the fb page. I know they are trying to sell their products and we all buy them. I don't like when they know they have had problems and try to cover it up and have the mods doing the same. I have a entire quart of Universal white that was brand new. I opened it, I was so thick I couldn't even stir it. They said it just have been me . That I left it unsealed. I'm glad the product can be used inside without ppe. But, I am lately getting discouraged when it's not the end all to be alls. I opened that quart two or three years ago. All of my stuff has just sat because I saw super disappointed. But, I ordered more. I hope this next round goes better. It just tunnel me off to all of it. And I have a lot invested in just crystalac products. $350 at least.

Why do you need the varnish as well as the Brite tone? Isn't the Bite tone a sealer as well?
