Hi, is there any way to silence a fault after cutting a wire to an alarmed area that I am not using anymore?

Is there an easy to do setting on the control panel so that 2 sensors need to be activated before the alarm triggers?

Some of my motion detectors won’t set the alarm off when I walk past them? I’ve learnt them and added code 06 for intruder but nothing happens ? Can you help out ?

Hi Mate. Not sure if you are still on here. I have an old Gardtec alarm. Was fitted when we bought the place. It's been pretty solid but for 14 or so years since we have lived here. Replaced the panel batteries a couple of times but apart from that no issues. However, in the last month or so I keep getting a Bell Box Tamper alert. Alarm just randomly switches on even when it's been disarmed and we are home. Goes off at all hours. Really annoying. Does that mean the bell box needs replacing? Its fairly old. Could it be the battery in the bell box? I haven't got a clue when it comes to alarms. Not great with ladders either but will climb up if I need to. If it was the battery I would have thought it would state a battery error. Anyways. Not sure if you are still here but any help would be great. Cheers.

Hey - I've just changed ISP and managed to get online. However, after about a week, the app has stopped working. Is this to do with IP setting on control panel? When I "view module status", signal shows as 100% but status "Not Fitted" - any ideas please? 🙏🙏🙏 Thanks in advance 🌹

Hi, great video Some questions: Do the resistors normally come with the panel? Do you think it is ok to carry 3 zones through one cable on an 8 core? E.g Parallel wire the 12v power and use other 3 pairs for FSL zones?

Learnt quite alot in this video. I've installed a Texecom alarm at a customers house but have no idea where to begin in setting it up. If I can't do it after watching this video then I'll have no choice but to call a professional person out lol

Good instruction video, I know you said double knock don't worry about. But think its very useful I for delaying the pet false alarms in my family room / kitchen area. Also use that in my office upstairs so once part set is done before bed I can put my macbook etc in my office with the 10 second motion delay feature which works out great. Incidentally to go back during TEXT use the CHIME button. Thank you👍.

Excellent tutorial that covers a gap in the Manual. Changing a router should be an easy experience as it is quite a common thing to do, yet the user manual does not cover the fact that the password is in a different section from the Wi-Fi, so even if you change the router in the wi-fi section, it retains the old password in the Coms module. This is not covered in the manual, my alarm provider seemed unaware and wanted me to pay for a visit (£50?) for something a user can do, makes you wonder... Please retain this Utube video for all the other confused users of this alarm, and Thank You very much.

How do you change the main welcome text “Dartline Alarms” it’s set on this one. I have been scratching my head for months with that. Can’t find any option i can edit it

Just tried this all went ok until the keypad set up then it froze saying connected had to reset alarm now I have keypad listed in zones 1 to 8 with tamper and I can’t do anything else I delete the zones but they keep coming back and it’s says richocet not available, keep resetting panel but just keeps doing same and won’t search for wireless sensors can you help!

Hi there - I tried this but when I scanned for our new wifi router it is just stuck on ‘Scanning for Networks’. I can’t get it to stop. Do you know what I can do to stop the scan and retry?
