The whole song kinda gives me ballroom dancing vibes, specifically in the medieval era. Like joyful and fun for the first part, where a bunch of people are gathered to dance and have fun for the last time, and then this part, where a maiden slow dances with the love of her life alone in the ballroom together. This part feels bittersweet to me, with a hint of sadness about having to say goodbye, but also a sense of joy that they both have happy memories to look back on, and that they still have that moment together ...This probably made no sense, but ah well 😅

What is it what is the feeling I get from this part of the song called. It’s like a density in me stomach that happens whenever I’m really really interested in or passionate about something. This song makes me want to tap into the spiritual/mythological part of myself. It gives me a nostalgia for a time I haven’t lived in, around a few thousand years back. It gives me well needed inspiration for my artwork. It gives me everything I need😭

This to me conjures up the image of an old warlock roaming a nordic forest at night with a firefly lantern looking for potion ingredients.

I can see myself walking home through the pure white snow all illuminated by the moon and my headlamp, in the coat with real sheepskin trim at the collar, cuffs and hem, my feet snug in my all-weather boots and snow cleats, alone and at peace at the very end of a long, good day.

To me, today, this song passage is of resilience. Withstanding the storm. My son's father unalived himself two days ago. To me i can almost see him smiling again like he did when i first met him.

Personal take: Helvetesfönster is better than Miasma. Maybe it's not super good from the start, but the ending of Helvetesfönster is just god.
@trynottohappen10 ай бұрын
Oh, I definitely agree. Miasma is pretty much the same thing over and over for five minutes, but Helvetesfönster is like a mixed bag of tunes, and I like that. It just has more feeling

It's interesting how this piece creates different feelings and images in people's minds. For me, it sounds very sad. It makes me feel like my life is rather tragic and I can't change it. But then, at the same time, it's so comforting somehow.

It gives me a feeling of walking along a hill in the moors in thick fog, amongst the duergar, being overlooked by the horned gods.
@alteascarfone8496 Жыл бұрын
It throws me back in the Middle Ages, in a small village where people are genuine and where I live with my loved one; we are watching the sunset together, hugging, knowing that that kind of happiness won’t last forever and enjoying every bit of the life we are given, finding comfort in that kind of sorrow…and suddenly it starts raining, and the rain falls gently over our heads, but we stay there, humming this haunting and lovely melody, sharing the few moments we are given before the bell tolls for us
