Lots of positive new changes in your life! *applause* I'm happy for you! I recommend intermittent fasting, with an early dinner so that you have time to digest it and follow with an evening walk to help digest your food. Fasting feels great, but starvation mode undoes it all. As for fast food... If you feel a screw-up comin' on, share a burger. Seriously, white knuckle deprivation sucks. Discuss limiting your fast food dates to no more than once a week, if that. Make it special, even let him order the burger, then share it half and half. Finish with a romaine heart from the grocery store and a walk in the park to help you digest it. Same with ice cream. If it's just you, get the smallest size, finish with a handful of nuts/seeds, and go for a walk. If there's a fast food restaurant, there's likely a nearby grocery store. You're doing well. I'm proud of your efforts.

Don't be discouraged by the weight gain. I'm sure things will even out a bit after you move in with your friends, you will be less stressed and hopefully less inclined to indulge yourself in food ❤

Congratulations! My starting weight is a little less than your current weight. I would love to know how you did it because, outside of pregnancy, my weight has not budged more than 5lbs in over 20 years. You are absolutely inspiring! Keep it up. You're doing amazing!

I found this video so relatable. I gained 90 lbs on a medication a few years ago and there were all sorts of totally unexpected activities that became harder. I'm not sure I've ever heard someone address these little everyday struggles that come with being very overweight. You look really beautiful, great work losing so much in such a healthy way! I'm losing but can't bring myself to exercise, so I really appreciate the inspiration!

Yeah, I don't think a lot of people really stop to think about how much more difficult it is to do the little everyday things. Even when I was at my heaviest weight, I didn't really Think about my struggle with putting on my shoes. It was just my way of life. But looking back, now I am able to reflect and think more deeply about how insanely more difficult it is to live day by day when you're packing on so much extra weight while being out of shape. Your kindness means a lot to me. Great job on losing weight yourself. If you're not ready to exercise yet, that's okay too, just do what you can for now. Every little success is important!

Came here from reddit. When you stood up and started showing your progress, saying you're really happy, it made me smile I also decided to document my weight loss, but I'm a little scared of showing my body, so I want to say that you're one courageous girl! Keep it up

You are a kind heart, and so beautiful! It is good to know I am not alone in having feelings like yours. I get so overheated in summer from keeping covered up. I am down 30's lb from 322 but have a long way to go!

I was up today as well which I rlly didnt expect. on the 16th I was down .8kg and today I was up .7kg. I did overeat one day but should still be in a deficit for the week so idk whats going on there but oh well. hope you feel better soon!

That's very normal! Weight doesn't just fluctuate throughout the day, but throughout the week as well. It could be a change in your water intake, activity level, hormones (mostly for women), sodium intake. Even though the scale goes up and down constantly, it doesn't necessarily mean you're losing or gaining fat. It's most likely water, which is temporary. So long as you a average a deficit, you're going to be losing weight! The scale just might not show it because of regular fluctuations. But if this continues to happen, you may consider if you are not properly counting calories, perhaps underestimating how much you overate, or maybe not being accurate enough in the measures you use to count calories (assuming you're doing calorie counting).

Rocking it! Awesome to hear you are staying active despite unhappy feelings. That's the hardest for me, still doing it when I'm feeling down.

Ahhhhh Getting Over It looks so ridiculously painful! I really like your end message of getting out and exercising for 15 minutes (or more generally just being more active) I've been making excuses not to go to the gym all afternoon. Gym then play with making my own Not-Stupid video afterwards :)

This is such a male thing, but as soon as I hear you say you don't know what you're doing with the chest press I want to give tips and advice. Even though I have no idea what I'm doing and have the same exact anxieties when it comes to doing squats or deadlifts at the gym (my goal will be to finally do that today!). I'm partially saying this to myself, to try and get outside my own comfort zone, but if you try something you're unfamiliar with or uncomfortable with at the gym you are more likely to get someone offering to help than someone judging you negatively for trying it.

Good job! But one word of advice, don't let your life be driven by what's on the scale only. A lot of people get discouraged when they start their fitness journey because their weight doesn't go down, or even go up. It is perfectly normal when you start building muscles, those are heavy, I would suggest using either progress pictures or go by the way some clothes fit to really make sure you're making progress. But still kuddos for fighting your anxiety and go to the gym :)

I just subscribed to your channel. We share two common things. One, I started my weight loss journey the same day you did. Number 2, I also lost 100 pounds before 2020 started and I gain it all back since then. I am very happy we share those common similarities and I share many of your insecurities as well. It is scary but very exciting when you decide to make a serious change in your life and it takes massive mental change when it happens. I look forward to seeing more of your videos and I wish you nothing but the best in your weight loss journey. Let's do this!

You can do it…..I’m currently just starting my weight loss journey too,Well it’s been about two weeks since I started. I am a bigger person and the pandemic really wasn’t good for me and my dad passed also and I’m still not over it…..Every morning when I wake up it’s tough at the beginning but I told my self I will get better and healthier over the next three years…..I’m dedicated and determined not to be this way anymore….Going outside and being laughed at really breaks me down sometimes,And I sometimes stop leaving the house.

Thanks for sharing, it's a great first step toward your goal. My advise would be, take your time, I know it's hard, but lasting changes take time, the whole fitness thing is a marathon, not a sprint :)
