1st off that 125 does not do 75mph for shit. 2nd if you think you can do 150 everywhere you dont deserve a bike in the first place, you’re impressing no one. 3rd buy some proper gear ffs. Jogging bottoms, shitty Asda puffer jacket and normal LACED trainers does not count as riding gear. All of that shit was exactly why the other rider was just “ha, yeah, good, ok…. Bye” we don’t want to be associated with riders like that. I would guess he saw you and thought is would be a good opportunity to give you a filtering lesson and help your confidence a bit, give you some pointers. Until he saw what you had on and then he already knew what you’d say…. and you didn’t disappoint. And if you see this comment you won’t listen, you’ll think I’m being a dick (which I kinda am but for good reason) and you will carry on doing what you’re doing until you become an organ donor.

@Mike-Oxlong93 yes lol, it just means low beam and high beam is on together, but it doesn't exactly blind anyone when on in the middle of daytime, just looks good which is literally the only reason I have them on, but also it's a habit from previously having other superbikes like a Honda Fireblade that when in lowbeam just has one side light on and looks stupid, highbeam puts both sides on. With the gixxer it's not an issue as the lights are central and stacked

Really? 🤦‍♂️😂 Put an indicator or hazards on if you're that worried whilst filtering, that'd be my recommendation. Other than that, seemed like a genuine & friendly interaction 👍

I have a Suzuki GSX 150 in Vietnam, i think they're the zippiest and most fun out of the little bikes on offer, I love going up through the gears reaching 60 mph haha... a lot cheaper too. Mine was $600 2018.

The Gixxer 125 is exclusive to Europe, the exact same bike is sold in Asia which is 150 instead

They even have a 150 CC scooter version in Vietnam, called the Raider, which comes in the sporty paint jobs, like the classic blue/yellow, with SUZUKI on the side. It looks like crap but only has slightly less power and torque than the GSX 150

I also have a GSX-R150 man, bought it for £785 or $1000 used with 14k km odo for fun 2nd bike along my MT-25, shit's fun just because of the fact that it's a bare bike with no electronic aids (although there's an ABS model) or slipper clutch but also the fastest in 150 😂 Like he said, one day man, one day.. Wish you guys be safe and wish the 125 guy a 600 one day 😁

Yes, half and half baso, before we joined the European Union in 1973, we fully used Imperial Measurements, but when we joined we had to slightly convert to using Metric for Import/Export in and out of Europe. So basically, all Import/Export things are Metric whilst Domestic things (on a smaller scale now) are Imperial, such as MPH for vehicles, and doctors will list your height in Feet and Inches etc.

It's in the whole of Europe and it's because the old beginner licenses many many years ago allowed you to ride a 250cc, but then with 4 stroke bikes, the top speeds got higher and higher so in the 80s they halved it from 250cc to 125cc and that is how it has been ever since

Lmao, yep, funnily enough, its the only "GSXR" that you can buy brand new in Europe anymore. GSXR600's and 750's got axed in 2017 because of Euro4 emissions laws and the 1000 got axed here in 2022 for the same reason. Suzuki was like nahhh, cba, so just stopped selling them here lmao

All good fun no matter what size. Ive had loads of big bikes but now Im having tons fun on my H100. 11 bhp and about 80kg, it'll sit at 65, sometimes.. different kind of fun but still ace.

I agree man, I had the most fun on bikes when I was on the smaller ones, the middleground bike of my old MT07 was my favourite. Had enough power to not make it feel like a chore to commute daily but not too much power to where I could barely open the throttle without feeling like im gonna lose my license lol. The current gixxer 1000 does 100mph in first gear lol, so yeahhhh

First bike was a Gixxer 600 back in 2020, was a mint rare black orange one (K4), sold it to buy a 95 Yamaha V Max, wish i hadn't TBH, also got a 2006 Gen 1 Hayabusa which i love.

@paul8161 no baffles, theres no baffling material in the exhausts whatsoever and the exhaust servo is open as well, so from headers to exit, its just tubes lol
